For my part, I’m thinking of carrying a bag full of signs that say “Shame!” that I can put next to the offending excrement. Both to shame whoever’s responsible, but also everyone else can watch their step.
The lesson we Westerners can learn from this and some action we can take right now is not to support the establishment and proliferation of far right-wing extremist religious organizations anymore. The action we should not take is to get involved with Afganistan’s affairs and make the problem worse than we’ve already made it.

I dressed up as Darth Vader and took my kids out. It was popular. I had several kids assure me they were on the side of the Empire. Then when they got past me, they were like, “I’m really a Jedi,” and run away. It was a good time other than I was completely blind. I couldn’t have chased those little younglings down if I’d wanted.

Oh man. This caused a flashback to that time I had a 3 day long cold that caused me to cough non-stop for the next month until I went to the doctor for steroids to make it stop.
That phase-out was in the works for 15+ years. Pretty sure I’ve read somewhere that the UK has been stalling it for years, so they definitely knew it was coming.
Shame they lost their voice in the EU commission and have yet another consequence of their own actions to swallow.
…and how six months later, it all amounted to jack squat and Reddit is back to business as usual. Exactly how Reddit correctly figured outraged internet warriors would get all worked up for a while and then lose interest.
I would not be surprised if EVs will be an integral part of the future power grid, though it would be better to have static power pods with batteries distributed in neighbourhoods.
