Why is there a ICC case of genocide against Israel but not China or Russia?
I don’t understand, there is no proof of genocide in Israel but YEARS of evidence against China and Russia. Can anyone explain this to me?
Images load for half a second, then turn into a white "broken image" icon
As the title says, some images load for half a second, then turn into a white “broken image” icon. If you then tell connect to “open external” it opens the image in a web browser, and that works just fine....
Thumbnail cache saved to object storage?
I’ve set up object storage properly on my instance. However, I noticed that pictrs is still ballooning in size and I beleive it’s due to the thumbnail cache. This cache does not appear to be getting stored in the object storage. Any idea how I can have anything saved in pictrs be stored in my object storage provider rather...

"# More Replies" Option Does Not Work For Me
Often times, when looking at the comments on a post, some comments are hidden and replaced by a button that (in Lemmy-UI) says “1 more reply ➔” or “2 more replies ➔” (or in Lemuroid says “1 more replies”) or some such. I assume the intent of this button is to cause the hidden comment to be shown, but the button...

How Many Streaming Services Do You Have?
I remember when it was just Hulu for $5 and Netflix for $8. Saved $50 a month from cable. Now it seems we spend more. I have four. Max, Peacock, Paramount and Hulu. Prime doesn’t count because it sucks balls. (Only paying Netflix when next Stranger Things and Squid Game is released). Curious to see what the average...

Logs are getting spammed with stacktraces "WARN Error encountered while processing the incoming HTTP request: lemmy_server::root_span_builder: Unknown:"
My lemmy-ui container is spiking cpu usage and looking into the logs the following shows up (900.000 lines in total). Any ideas what the issue could be? I’m on 0.19.1, everything seems to be working fine aside from the logs filling up and the usage piking sometimes....
