I found this website really helpful. It rounds up subreddits that existed on Reddit and the places they’ve moved to in the Fediverse.

Sync for Reddit. IMO the best Reddit app for Android.

yeah, it was my favorite as well - I played around with RIF and Boost, but kept coming back to Sync. At least LJ has confirmed he'll be developing Sync for Lemmy.

yeah, that's what I'm waiting for as well. I'm not a huge fan of the webapp on mobile at least, but it's so much better than reddit

I agree, it was the best on android. Before switching devices I was there in the beginning of Sync for Reddit during its beta.

Same with Sync. The dev is working on a Lemmy app, but I'm not convinced it can replace Reddit.

I'm still kinda in shock that it actually happened. Well, that's legitimately the end of the road for me on Reddit. I was on there for 12 years, and the majority of it was using RiF. Gg Spez, moron.

Kill off Old Reddit and force everyone to use the redesigned site. Lock as many useful features behind Reddit Premium as possible. Take a page from Tumblr and ban NSFW content to be more friendly to advertisers. Those are just a few things off the top of my head. Maybe do something with crypto and NFTs. People love that.

Boost is still up at the moment but Boost for Lemmy is already up for pre-registration, so I don't think it's a hard cutoff or anything.

Fun side effect if I accidentally click a reddit link from Google or whatever, it opens the app to an empty screen instead of giving reddit traffic! I'll keep it installed as a free blacklist tool 🤣
