Connect for Lemmy currently doesn't have a great community browser (hopefully that will change soon). What instance are you on? If you are on lemmy.world they have a pretty good community browser here: https://lemmy.world/communities. You can filter it to just search local communities (on lemmy.world) or all. Other instances probably have similar community search options.

Reddit has very little intrinsic value. Its value comes from its userbase and isn't Reddit's to own.

Connect For Lemmy has been a favorite of mine. It's getting updated very frequently. There's also a ton of apps in development.

I mean, if you're feeling vindictive then replacing ll your comments with essentially spam helps trash Reddit's search engine ranking for at least the pages you're comments are on.
