No, and I blocked it on my DNS server so I don’t accidentally go there either

scottmeme, in In which game did you spend the most hours?

1200 hours on Halo The Master Chief Collection on steam. And absolutely countless more on Halo Reach on the Xbox 360.

No I dont’t actually.

Doesnotexist, in Be honest, do you still use reddit?

Not once.

StankFlipper, in Be honest, do you still use reddit?

Completely out and I had RIF for at least eleven years. They got rid of a part of me; I don’t want shit to do with the site anymore. I’d also be out of Facebook if it weren’t for messenger. I look to Lemmy for updates on the dumpster fire that is Reddit now.

Chronophos, in Be honest, do you still use reddit?

I still use it for Google searches. For the subreddits that aren’t private anymore, it’s still a good resource to get reviews from actual human beings. But I made use of Power Delete Suite to both edit and delete all my comments, and I deleted my accounts back in June.

p0ppe, in Be honest, do you still use reddit?

Nope. A couple of clicks via Google, but that’s it.

IceGoddessEmma,

at least you still can, 90% of the time i get private communities, thanks admincraft

gabriele97, in I feel like /c/memes has taught us a valuable lesson today: Would it make sense to develop a feature to block a comm from our feed for a selectable unit of time (1 hour, 1 day, etc.)?

What happened?

freamon,

Everyone became convinced that ‘old memes’ were the new thing (possibly in response to the popularity of Antique Memes Roadshow) and they swamped out everything else on All

corgi92,

Everyone spamming old memes

raubarno, in What's your real-life superpower?

Analytical skills and working memory (RAM)

Only if it is a google result. I still have sync app installed :(

jivandabeast,

Same here but for rif, had to finally uninstall it because it was getting frustrating.

But honestly lemmy content is really fire and I don’t really feel the need to look elsewhere, except for some niche communities. I’m thinking about opening a second private instance that just mirrors the few reddit communities i miss.

Nemo, in What's your real-life superpower?

Apparently, lucid dreaming. Been doing it my whole life, requires no effort to initiate.

Hypnosis4162,

Do you find your quality of sleep low?

Nemo,

How would I compare? But no, I do fine.

HobbitFoot,

I lucid dream and I find that when I lucid dream, that’s when I’m getting the best sleep I can get.

Maldreamer,

Man it takes me maintaining a dream journal, some MILD affirmations now and then and about 15 Reality check per day to even get atleast one lucid dream in a week and when i get busy and couldnt keep up with my dream journal and reality check, i would need to start from scratch to get to that previous level and that could mean month gap between lucid dreams.

I unsubbed for the same reason. Some funny content, but it was the only content.

Maybe if they code something like a multireddit so you could read specific subs without subscribing.

You can always configure it on uBlock Origin (supposing you are using the web version)

Before influx of Reddit users, there were too much of topics I didn’t want to get into. So i just created my own cosmetic rules:

<pre style="background-color:#ffffff;">
<span style="color:#323232;">lemmy.ml##.d-sm-block.d-none > .row:has-text(Blockchain)
</span><span style="color:#323232;">lemmy.ml##.d-sm-block.d-none > .row:has-text(ChatGPT)
</span>

What it does, is, that it blocks entries that contains unwanted phrases like ‘Blockchain’ or ‘ChatGPT’ .

If you don’t like me, for example, you can also add:

<pre style="background-color:#ffffff;">
<span style="color:#323232;">lemmy.ml##.d-sm-block.d-none > .row:has-text(raubarno)
</span>

And you won’t see my posts.

CYCLR,

That’s very useful, first comment I saved

CurlyWurlies4All, in In which game did you spend the most hours?
@CurlyWurlies4All@prxs.site avatar

Workers and Resources: Soviet Republic. 189 hours attempting to create a sustainable, green powered, communist utopia.

Myro, in Be honest, do you still use reddit?

No. Haven’t touched it since they killed 3rd-party apps and don’t intend to (exception are Google search results, though I use Teddit as a frontend there.
