I used it for a while. It was okay but I got frustrated with some of the UI on Desktop. It struggled to recognize a lot of website password forms so I had to do a lot of manual login entry (even if it was copy paste it was still a pain). I really liked having a desktop app that didn’t require a browser but they stopped supporting it, which was the last thing I was staying for so I dropped it for Keeper, then One Password.
With all that said, it’s one of few pm tools that made it super easy to share passwords securely (more than keeper or Onepassword) , and it was pretty seamless to share logins for household stuff like Netflix and our mortgage servicer. My husband hated using though since he had his own system that preferred using, but used dashlane for things we shared.
I also play Beat Saber several times a week! It’s loads of fun. I find the multiplayer gets me competitive and I’ll end up playing for up to 2 hours (assuming I’ve kept my endurance up).
I’ve never seen that replay feature before, that’s really cool. I stopped playing modded songs a while ago because the plugin kept breaking and was incompatible with multiplayer. Has that gotten any better? (I play on SteamVR w/ Valve Index)
I do, or moreso I should say I enjoy the feeling I get while working out. Seeing my body with a pump, feeling like I just put everything into that last set even if it wasn’t the strongest I’ve ever been on that exercise or the best form I’ve ever had.
It’s not the “runners high” for me, but an appreciation that no matter what I get done that day (or not) that I went to the gym and maintained/progressed my physical training. It’s like coming from a hard day at work and looking at a well made bed, knowing no matter how shit your day was that you’ve put effort in and will see it returned. It also turns out that when you work out more often than not that you’ll eventually notice you feel “off” when you don’t. You feel happier and less like a blob of a human even if your body composition still reflects it. You can feel the muscle a little bit firmer and theres a bit more pep in everything you do. Like you’re more capable of just moving around in day to day life.
I’ve been a consistent Mon-Fri gym goer for about 11 years now and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. I don’t lift as heavy as I used to because I’m trying to keep my joints in good health when I’m older, but with mind/muscle concentration and controlled movements you can trigger hypertrophy even with weights that won’t end in knee replacements by age 45.
It’s a fun form of fitness, and I like it more than running. While I mostly enjoy it for the way it makes me feel after the gym, there’s nothing like looking at yourself in a mirror with an extra 50 pounds of lean muscle than you started with and the ability to put more weight over your head than you could originally deadlift.
watch them die inside as nothing works, not even a restart.
Optional step:
put your wireless mouse receiver in their computer and subtly click occasionally, or move when they move. Has to be subtle enough for them to question their sanity for a few hours.
That’s a great addition. We used to screenshot it with an application open so they would keep trying to close the application. I had a coworker restart their computer several times before he realized what was going on.
I was close to deleting it. I’m also subbed to data hording and this is the opposite of what we do there. If someone is searching for something obscure as 3D printing issue on an Artillery 1, I rather it show up on lemmy, not reddit.
It does matter. They’re not going to profit off my submissions by injecting ads when someone searches for a solution. I’m not going to contribute to their financial gain.
It’s not lost data if it’s documented elsewhere. Download your data and delete everything.
Then encourage people repost it somewhere else. And Facebook also started out as only a social media company but now is integrated into so many aspects of our lives and in some countries the default messaging service.
So depending on the view deleting content is also for humanity to try and avoid the emergence of another data mining mega corp.
That information is what leads back to reddit and creates new users. And the more obscure the info the higher reddit results will pop up in searches. Search results even put less priority on even forums that contain information in favor of years old reddit results being promoted to the top.
If the goal is to cut off reddit and decrease its influence then deleting is the way forward. It is the one singular act that actually has an impact.
I ride BMX for fun. It’s evenly split between hour long rides and hour long trick sessions. It feels good to go fast on the bike or to explore what’s around the next corner. Feels amazing to nail a new trick or improve consistency with old tricks. Then afterwards I get LSD flashbacks looking at the popcorn ceiling while catching my breath. Fun all around.
You can request all your reddit data from reddit. It takes a week or two, but then you’ll get a link where you can download a zip file with a bunch of CSVs with all your comments, posts, up votes, everything.
My interest are gaming, standup comedy, memes, react videos, metalurgy, machining, blacksmithing,
Because a lot of the type of guys who like seeing those stupid conservative videos also like many of the same things as you. Gaming^™ is well known to have a problem with the alt-right, react videos have a very similar structure to conservative “libs destroyed with fact and logic” types of videos, and finally a lot of conservatives like to think of themselves as an old fashioned man’s-man so they enjoy things like metalwork and other typical “manly” careers.
