First Chivalry game was dope. Funniest pvp hack n slash ever. Can’t even get mad when you die cuz the voice acting and emotes n shit was over the top hilarious. Imagine if “Were knights of the round table” from Monty python was a medieval call of duty that was it.
Chiv 2 is pretty good too but didn’t get too deep honestly cuz I sunk in hundreds of hours on the first and retired.
No one product, but more of a collection of technologies underlying the Apple ecosystem. For example, AirDrop or Continuity (drafting something on one device and continuing/finishing on another).
Universal Control is pretty magical. I love having both my work and personal laptops connected to an ultrawide monitor and using my mouse/keyboard (actually Magic Trackpad, Magic Keyboard) across the two.
When I’m waiting for something for work I can slide the cursor over and do something on my personal computer.
My only paranoia is that the work laptop can track what I’m typing but that’s why I use the peripherals connected to the personal laptop to control everything.
There are two games that I have spent a considerable amount of my life playing Planetside 2 and Path of Exile.
Planetside 2 released it was exactly the game that I was looking for. The experience of playing in an organised outfit was the best multiplayer gaming I’ve ever experienced.
Path of Exile is like a sledgehammer of a learning curve. Never had played an ARPG before this but once I got to maps my soul was taken indeed.
Before this left4dead 2 was the game that I had suck many hours into - what a game!
I lost power last night and had nothing to do… lemmy, sadly, doesn’t have as much content yet so I popped in once just to see. Spent like 10 min there with no account since I did delete it and realized it also wasn’t showing me much either.
Having an account with everything you like really helps the experience, glad I looked and felt better when it also didn’t really give me the fix I wanted. Power is back and I don’t forsee myself going back anytime soon, outside very specific google searches where I might find relevant information needed to do my job.
It’s always something that doesn’t work and I can’t get working. Right now (I dual boot) it’s my 4G modern in my laptop that I don’t seem to understand how to activate the GPS receiver in. Even if I got it to work I wouldn’t know since I have no idea on how GPS is supposed to work on Ubuntu…
Not sure if it’s big tech but anyways… The Stream Deck (not to be confused with the Steam Deck portable gaming console). This macro keyboard brought my productivity through the roof and now I don’t understand how I went so long without it.
Yes I guess you’re right… I wouldn’t know because I don’t stream or create content. The device is marketing towards those types… But it’s really a productivity tool that anyone can use.
If you have PS Plus, Cold War is one of the free games this month. While some people prefer the more classic style, definitely don’t sleep on this one. As a bonus, all the dlc content is free in the post-bo4 games.
Black ops 3 is also a great choice, just look into the dlc options before purchasing (it’s all good, just deciding on a bundle will save some money). The PC version also benefits from steam workshop support, there’s a lot of great original maps and even remakes of some classic ones.
Me: Suffers from severe depression and anxiety as a teen
My family: You’re just gonna have to deal with it!
They’ve since gotten my brother treatment for the exact same thing. Meanwhile, I’m still severely depressed and totally untreated because I can’t fucking afford it.
