What are your "weirdest" pizza toppings or other weird food combos?
One I've tried is cucumber with tomato sauce. It didn't taste so bad.

reflex, You mean like left beef none pizza, OP?
bstix, Mushroom pizza with a sunny side up egg.
pieceofcrazy, That isn't that unusual in Italy, but usually we use boiled eggs!
bstix, This was in Japan. They put raw egg on everything.
Apparently pizza is quite exotic to them, because they cost more than other foods and they had no idea of how to make a regular pizza.
I got the egg thing because I couldn't order anything ordinary, so I asked the waiter for his suggestion and took his word for it. I don't regret doing that but I probably won't order that pizza again.
VanillaGorilla, They messed my pizza order up once and I'm not entirely sure what I got, but it had chicken, pineapple and curry sauce instead of tomato. I decided to give it a taste and as weird as it was, it was kind of nice. Nothing I would order again, but I didn't complain either.
idkwhatnametopick, Spaghetti with the normal tomato sauce and meat balls and spontaneously decided to try it with soy sauce (sorry fellow Italians)
tryplot,
Saxitoxin, Chocolate and banana pizza
ReCursing, I once had a pizza with duck on, and orange sauce instead of tomato sauce. It was actually rather good, iirc!

Harlan_Cloverseed, Not on pizza, but a combo to try - Dill pickles with peanut butter. It’s gotta be smaller non-sliced crunchy dill pickles, cold. Peanut butter needs to be the processed creamy kind, with some sugar added. Delicious.
Infrapink, Mango works surprisingly well.
neuropean, I think that would unite the pro- and anti- pineapple debate.
Arcaneslime, Pro-pineapple (but anti-hawaiian, should be pep, pine, jalaps) here: I’d try it, but only with chicken and Habeneros if I can, jalaps if they have no habs.
TheMightyBlu, My father decided saurkraut on pizza would be nice. Thank goodness I'm coeliac or I'd have been obliged to try some...
TempleSquare, That actually sounds pretty good. Especially on a sausage pizza.
fleabomber, Y'all just eating flatbread.
AnakinSandlover, Chicken sandwich with peanut butter, chili oil and soy sauce (just a bit if you need a bit of saltiness).
mcdougle, The "college kid" Pad Thai was chicken, pb, Sriracha, and a Ramen packet.
There's a restaurant nearby that does that on a sandwich instead of on Ramen.
I don't think you're far off
Tight-laced, Banana and Salad Cream sandwiches.
The Salad Cream adds a nice tangyness, you can tell yourself the banana makes it healthy, and you've got a proper student sandwich.
Works surprisingly well.
sylverstream, Spaghetti in tomato sauce on pizza. NZ thing, our youngest loves it.
