-put a hole in your slice of bread
-butter both sides and set the pan on medium low heat
-toast the buttered bread in the pan and season it with salt (I toast both sides because the egg cooks pretty fast.)
-put a little tab of butter into the pan in the center of the hole
-crack an egg into the hole.
-little bit of salt on the egg and wait until the whites are almost set; a little bit of cooking spray on the egg if you're unsure about the non-stickness of your pan
-flip and wait until you achieve your perfect yolk
-plate and add ground pepper or whatever you desire
I honed my technique during COVID quarantine days.
An alternative:
-toast a slice of bread in a pan with butter and salt
-soft boil an egg
-serve the egg over the toast or use an egg cup and dip slivers of the toast into the egg
I write all my expenses and incomes down onto app called Wallet by budget bakers. I don’t set any monthly budgets or anything however, because I find that keeping track alone already makes me much more mindful consumer. I already have records of my finances for almost 3 years so it’s pretty interesting to get to monitor my spending across a long timeframe.
20% off the paychecks directly to registered retirement account. Use a cashback credit card for everything, pay it off every paycheck, and watch carefully that the balance doesn’t exceed what you can pay off. This is key, never pay card interest. Nice hefty reward from that every year. For things that can’t be charged to the card, annualized payment from a high interest savings account which I replenish every paycheck just enough to ensure all the annual payments can be drawn when the times come, all tracked with a spreadsheet for each bill. Extra goes in there for emergency funds, avoids paying interest when unexpected costs come up.
Egypts internet infrastructure of 2011 does not equal US internet infrastructure of 2025. The US is too well connected to feasibly turn off the internet. With egypt in 2011 they only had to shut down five ISPs and that shut off the internet in their country.
Non-practical, 2010 Ford Focus RS Mk2, had to sell it when I got a bonus family and started to commute 300 km almost every day.
Practical, 2018 Volvo V90 CC, perfect in every way, except that the rear lights had to be replaced once a year, and one of the buttons on the steering wheel every second year.
First car I bought for myself in college was a 2016 Volvo S60 with 110,000 miles on it after the car my parents got me threw the timing belt on the way to class. It’s tiny as hell, but I love that car. Now, after a few years, we’re pushing 200,000 miles and the only thing it ever needed besides regular maintenance is an oil pan gasket. I have a kid now and I can’t even fit a car seat in the back seat without moving the front seat all the way forward. I know I have to get rid of it soon and it breaks my heart.
Is there a ‘proxy’ docker or application I can run that I can use for ublock that acts as a gateway so I could use its awesomeness on every device without configuring them?
I’m aware of Pihole but these additions look amazing and are obviously not dns based ?
