ShittyBeatlesFCPres,

I’m boycotting Sabra hummus until Israel gives us a motherfucking ant-colony-level Hamas bunker under that hospital. We were promised a whole ass command center and got a wack ass video of one hole. I want to see the secret lair.

ShittyBeatlesFCPres,

/s for anyone concerned. I condemn Hamas super hard.

anarchost,

Wait, did you say you like hummus

jabathekek, (edited )
@jabathekek@sopuli.xyz avatar

is it hummus or hammas we must know

anarchost,

I have it on good sources that hummus is hiding underneath my tabbouleh salad

GET THE CHIPS, WE RIDE AT NOON

ShittyBeatlesFCPres,

I live by a Turkish place that makes amazing musabaha. I can boycott both Hamas and hummus for as long as it takes for the big reveal.

Isn’t Sabra owned by Pepsi?
Oh… hummus joke.

IDF released this video a week ago, sounds like what you want.

CCatMan,

HBO, because of the last two seasons of Games of Thrones. I can’t get over how easy the Night King was defeated and no more ice babies.

JGrffn,

Should’ve given us an entire season for him alone. Fuck D&D.

Breezy,

I was and still am proud of myself for dropping the last season after two episodes and never finishing the show. I read the books last year and they were great. Still cant believe how far behind the books are compared to the show.

Facebook and Elon Musk’s companies (both’s effects on global society are way more egregious than other tech companies,) pretty much any company that wears faith on their sleeve

cordlesslamp,

Nintendo, EA, Blizzard, Epic, Huawei.

rockitude,

US Airways. They left me stranded at a layover and I nearly missed my grandfather’s funeral. When I asked to be rebooked after waiting three hours in line, they offered me a 10% off coupon for the airport hotel; no refund or credit for the incomplete flight. I eventually found a flight out. It was $2000.

oraw1234w,

Us airways doesn’t exist anymore they merged with American Airlines

EinfachUnersetzlich,

Should be easy, they haven’t existed for the last eight years.

badbytes,

T-Mobile was pretty awful, and stuck me a big cancellation fee when I left. I had been with them for +15yrs. Never would i return

Shell ExxonMobil

Netflix Spotify

uranibaba,

Why the last two?

wildcardology,

Netflix for me because some of their good shows only lasts a season or two while the bad ones gets to 4 or more. Spotify because of how low they pay their artists.

RizzRustbolt,

Subway should be on everyone’s list.

blusterydayve26, (edited )

I’ll consider taking them off the list after they start making food product they can legally be considered bread in Europe again.

Fal,

This is the stupidest take in the world

RizzRustbolt,

They could make the best god damned sandwiches in the world. But that still doesn’t mean they should still exist as a company after what they did.

Gingernate,

What did they do?

RizzRustbolt,

Sheltered pedophiles in their c-suite.

Mr_Blott,

You could just fuckin tell us mate, nobody’s impressed

I looked up wiki and it could be any number of things that’s got your knickers in a twist

Applebee’s. They wanted to screw their employees during COVID.

And their food is mediocre.

Willy,

I still deal with every company people here are listing. I even really like some of them despite the owners views etc. (if you make a good chicken sandwich and beat your wife, I’m still gonna eat that sandwich while hoping you go to jail).

I have not seen anyone mentioning Reddit yet though, and that kinda shocks me. I know it’s not the same as giving them a dollar but they’ve received no eyeballs, add revenue or obviously content from me since the exodus.

_danny,

I also eat at Chick-fil-A occasionally, but it’s mainly because there are so few places I actually like the food. I do feel bad each time because I know the profit from my meal is going to fund some pretty awful lobbyists. It’s not just giving money to a bigot, it’s giving money to a bigot who is very active in politics.

It’s increasingly hard to avoid that though. It seems like every single owner of each company in the fortune 500 is actively trying to drag us back into feudalism.

Valmond,

Microsoft.

To be fair I only have given them money (indirectly) once buying a gaming laptop with preinstalled windows.

There are lots of others of course, but who knows which brand is actually Nestle or Lactalis etc.

_danny,

If I could ditch them I would. I can’t fathom why people haven’t been in a constant state of outrage for them putting ads in Windows.

neidu, (edited )

Preinstalls is the only way I’ve paid Microsoft recently, and that was for two gaming PCs for my kids. Before that it was when I bought a laptop with preinstalled OS in 2009.

Only time i paid them directly was for the win98 upgrade license, which was objectively worth it since I could use my Win3.1 floppies as an upgrade starting point.

Now I’m a linux user. I only have windows on my work laptop.

fakeman_pretendname,

There’s a database of Nestle owned companies on f**knestle.art if you want to quickly remove a handful of secretly-Nestle products from your life.

morphballganon,

Any company with an ad that makes me wait or click more than once.

magnetosphere,
@magnetosphere@kbin.social avatar

Very, very few. I figure that all large companies are awful in one way or another; the only difference is whether we know about it or not.

I prefer to shop locally when it’s an option. I like feeling as if my business genuinely matters.

davemeech,

Not that I have progressed enough financially yet to be in a position to buy a Tesla Model S, it’s gone from a dream car to something I’d be ashamed to own because of being disillusioned by who Elon Musk is over the past few years.

Aleric, (edited )

I just got the job I’ve been striving for since 2015. Early on, I said I wanted to get a Tesla when I could afford it. Now I can and don’t want one. I’d take one if it was given to me, but I’d just resell it. I don’t want anything to do with Musk.

A_Random_Idiot,

There are plenty of other cheaper, better made cars out there, that don’t have stupid bullshit like charging you to replace the entire backseat because the seatbelts stained.

Caledonian Sleeper who carefully wriggled out of paying a refund on a booking cancelled by the March 2020 C***d lockdown.

systemguy_64,

Credit card chargeback. The services you paid for were not rendered.

snaprails,
@snaprails@feddit.uk avatar

They ran the train but lockdown started the next day so my 8 day trip was off. Then they said you couldn’t get a refund on advanced tickets but could rebook later (at extra cost) up to a certain date but who knew when lockdown would end? I wouldn’t have been able to get more leave anyway. Then they said a few days later that advance ticket refund would be given but when I applied they said “Too late, it’s after the date you were due to travel”. Every other company I’d booked with gave refunds even those bookings that were non-refundable. It looks like Caledonian Sleeper’s days might be numbered anyway. Oh dear. How sad. Never mind.
