I believe 1.0.152 is meant to be the version compatible with the new Lemmy release, and it works pretty well as a guest user. Unfortunately, when I try to login to lemmy.ml (which uses the new server version), I get Error: An unknown error has occurred....
The alien.top instance block will not be applied correctly after filter is added. I believe part of the problem is that they use a generic name, selfhosted.forum, maybe?...
Just want to let be known I am very greatful for this wonderful app! I’ve used it every day for months and it has largely defined my experience with lemmy. As a software dev I know how exhausting it can be implementing all these thoughful features and I’m blown away by the quality/feature set. So, thanks!
I’m not the developer, but just noticed that Lemmy Connect 1.0.152 was available on the Play Store Beta Channel. Thank you @kuro for your continued support....
Recently had some people tell me that connect isn’t collapsing cross-posts so when a post is posted to multiple communities at the same time it floods the feed...
Been using Connect for months, great app! I am in Beta program. Last few hours I am unable to access my main instance (lemmy.sdf.org) using my main account with it, I get error...
Periodically I have a stretch of these errors. Once post loads and I can even see comments, my screen gets completely blocked by this error. If it starts to appear, every other post is affected too....
Pretty much title. Sometimes I want to see new content, sometimes I want to go back and look at old content. It’s a little exhausting having to jump into settings to hit that toggle, and it would be really cool if we could switch it from the top bar or in the three-dot menu in the top bar
It seems like all the other markdown stuff works, but we’re missing ^superscript^ and subscript in connect. As a frequent user of footnotes,^1^ I would greatly appreciate support for these tags....
Hokay, so: I’m using Connect for a long time now, and for some reason I can’t view images from certain servers, such as sh.itjust.works and programming.dev....
When I receive a Lemmy email notification on my phone, and I click on the link inside, it goes to the webpage in my browser, instead of opening in the CONNECT app. How do I reassign that? I’m using Google Pixel 7 with Android 13
Seems like the feeds are more active and I’m not hitting things with 3 upvotes 20 minutes into my scroll. Did Connect change something, did Lemmy or are we just seeing some population increase from Boost?
Let me explain. When I enable the ratio of votes I can fully understand what’s going on, however when I click it to make a vote it won’t be counted (I checked it via browser). Furthermore, if I use swipe, it works, but opening a post after voting won’t show me my vote, that’s odd. Hopefully, it will be fixed....
With the option enabled, you can see post downvote tallies as well but it’s displayed as a ratio. Unless I’m forgetting or just missed it, I haven’t seen anyone comment on it either. Good or bad....
