Yes, I’m checking it out now.

CJOtheReal, in Windows port
  1. Use Linux, Windows bad.
  2. How about an emulator?
  3. It’s a Android App just a Port to windows isn’t possible, the dev would need to remake the entire thing from scratch.

Break in what way? Everything seems fine for me right now…

It wasn’t logging into some instances automatically and some saved instances were just gone. Lemmy.ca was in a weird half logged in state after its update.

There really weren’t any major issues, TBH. When I opened Connect after the lemmy.ca update, the app got a little confused, s’all. I figured I would just drop a note here about it if someone was looking for an answer.

rhacer, in screen blackout, app still functions.

I’m seeing the same behavior.

Squoosh it before uploading.

Chainweasel, in why I cant see all comments most of the time

I have bots disable in my account settings so the bot accounts don’t show up, but they’re still counted in the total number of comments for posts.
Could it be that you have bot accounts disabled?

Hi, I can look into this. Is this intermittent or if it’s happening on some posts consistently do you have an example of where it’s happening?

0000000nowhere,

Sure, here are some random examples:

It does seem inconsistent though, since I can now see some replies that used to bug out

CJOtheReal, in Is "Error rate limit" a Lemmy or a Connect or an instance thing?

Instance issue, probably a anti spam measure.

otter, in Is "Error rate limit" a Lemmy or a Connect or an instance thing?

Possibly instance? I post a LOT of stuff in a short amount of time, usually I sit down and post a set of links / text posts and it’s fine.

Could you make an account on another instance and try to post the same way?

I’ll take a look at this behaviour and see what I can do. Thank you for the feedback!

dmention7, in Issue where commenting refreshes post

Yep I get the same behavior. It would be nice to return back to the comment you just replied to.

CJOtheReal, in translate function not working in SwiftKey

Yeah i think that’s a SwiftKey problem, i have the problem in other apps as well from time to time, idk why.

Is this happening on all instances or only a specific instance? Does it happen even if you’re a guest user or signed out?

Travalanche,
@Travalanche@lemmy.world avatar

All instances, as far as I can tell.
I tried logging out, exiting the app completely, then I opened it back up, went on All, and clicked the first 20 or so posts with >3 comments. It didn’t display any of the comments. I’d say 85ish% returned the error above, while the rest returned “No comments” (even though the post card showed comments were made).

Chris5aNSFW, in Can't download images

What type of phone do you have? I have a Samsung Galaxy S22ultra and it works fine when the app is in the regular location on the phone. However if I have the app in the Secure Folder and try and download it doesn’t work (or goes somewhere that can’t be found). I had reported this bug awhile back but no fix as of yet. Other Lemmy apps don’t have the same issue.

threelonmusketeers, in Can't download images

If no one else has experienced the problem, you might want to consider providing your OS and app version to help the developer pinpoint the problem, if one exists.
