unreachable,
Land_Strider,
AmosBurton, Thank you.
YoorWeb,
DandomRude, You don’t say?
MissJinx,
GratefullyGodless, You may have to face-off against some people who wonder why you posted this.
flambonkscious, Thanks for helping me connect the dots. I’m not smart but I do like a joke with more than one face
GratefullyGodless, You’re welcome. Glad I could help you face the situation.
flambonkscious, More of a removal of false assumptions, really
nieminen, Man, Travolta got himself really… Caged in…
jasondj, Was he briefly John Travolta in 1997? Wtf happened?
hakunawazo, Face/Off?
jasondj, Oh shit that came out 27 years ago. Woosh.
Fapp, What’s that?
dankm, A movie where two characters traded faces. One a crimelord of some sort, another an FBI dude or somesuch.
WhiskyTangoFoxtrot, He took Travolta’s face… off.
nonfuinoncuro, (edited )
Kraven_the_Hunter, Now do Arnold Schwarzenegger!
VikingHippie, Or his identical twin brother https://lemmy.wtf/pictrs/image/9475b4b5-7df3-4c24-9f66-02bfe4c9084c.webm
Tugboater203, 97 was a good year for him.
numberfour002, For the longest time, I refused to watch anything he was acting in. I think it was sometime between maybe 1997 and 2002 when I realized how much his movies had started to suck.
More recently though, I caved and decided to watch Renfield, and I’m glad I gave it a chance. It’s not like the greatest movie ever, but I thought it was cute. And I actually really enjoyed Nic in this movie for the first time in decades.
oatscoop, I’d argue his best performance was in Vampire’s Kiss, and a toss up between this scene or this one.
portifornia, I totally get that, but for what it’s worth, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent is worth giving a shot, too! It breaks the 4th wall in a refreshingly humorous & self-deprecating way. Loved it!
numberfour002, I’d be willing to give it a try. I haven’t watched much of his more recent filmography, and what I’ve seen was not in chronological order.
After seeing him in Renfield, I did end up watching Color Out of Space and Willy’s Wonderland. Neither of those movies was something magnificent the way I view his performance in Renfield, but I enjoyed them. Well, Willy’s Wonderland was meh, but I really liked Color Out of Space for what it is worth.
madcaesar, Yea that was a fun movie.
Cyclist, Pig is supposed to be quite good. In fact I think I’ll go watch it.
rahmad, Pig is a really unique and fun movie. John Wick meets Top Chef, or something like that…
Lexam, Visited his grave once. It’s really nice.
Mr_Dr_Oink, Last night i looked at this briefly and just thought “cool, thats nic cage through the years” this morning i look again and i realise what i missed and now im giggling by myself in the bathroom. Thankyou OP.
LemmyFeed, He took his face… off.
TWeaK, I was gonna say you missed his bald phase, but then I saw the joke.
DJDarren, (edited ) What about Nic Cage in 2014 as a cat.
betheydocrime, A sexy cat
undeffeined, I hear he can eat a peach for hours.
RyruGrr, (edited ) Made me think of Dwight Shrute’s carved rescue dummy face. 😆
