Difference is the arch user can probably land a six figure job now.

You’re a monster of you actually like regex more than just opening a full text editor. I’d open visual studio and use it to give the text I need before I touch sed

MTK, in If linux distributions were tools.

It should have a tail.

phorq,

You can glue your own tail, there are instructions in the guide for proper configuration and cleaning.

MTK, (edited )

yay -Syu tail-plug

UwUntu what’s this?

Genericusername,

No. It should be minimalistic by default. If you want to add a tail just grab one from the AUR.

uis,

Well, you can install Gentoo with USE=tail

I just learned that the Mac version of sed requires a backup file for the -i flag, making it really hard to write cross-platform scripts that use it.

You can use those other distributions as buttplugs, too, but they’re not going to be pleasurable or even comfortable.

milkjug,

This statement implies using arch btw as a buttplug is pleasurable and/or comfortable.

lefaucet,

Did they stutter?

on my office machine: I have Ubuntu(23.10) in its full glory. it is a good distro. I really enjoy gnome shell with Wayland.

on my home machine: I won’t let a single proprietary prpgram exist on my Debian. and the only wm would be i3(with xfce as a backup, and as a source of other common programs like terminal).

I’ve used mint in my university(default distro there), which I also enjoyed for its familiarity to users coming from proprietary operations systems.

my foray into GNU/Linux(from w*ndows) was thanks to Tails, which made me appreciate how different an OS can be(actually, my first computer had Ubuntu 4.10. the computer lasted for less than 2 years. hence I don’t count it).

and I’ve also helped many friends set-up distros like zorin and peppermint.

at the end of day, no matter the distro, it’s GNU/Linux. and that’s all that matters.

As a VIM user, I approve.

Mint would be a colourful toy piano. Just the way I like it.
