the fediverse has some side effects with regards to post timestamping. i've noticed i get old posts in the 'new' feed fairly regularly as remote instances rebroadcast stuff that might have failed. post edits seem to reset some of this timestamping also.
but its all pretty specific to whatever server app you employ (lemmy/'bins)
It says you misused it somehow. I’m not sure what you did to your stupid to misuse it, but you misused both the template and you misused your personal stupid. That’s what you gotta fix.
Tbh I don’t think humanity was ready for social media. In the past, complete and utter fuckwits would be shamed into silence. Now, they’re all connected to each other, reinforcing their shitty hot takes until they reach a critical mass; attracting other morons like a black hole of idiocy.
Forget technological singularity, we’re rapidly approach a singularity of stupidity. Idiocracy was supposed to be a comedy, not a how-to manual for fucks sake!
How did I misuse my stupid? Did I put it in the wrong place? Did I color my stupid incorrectly? The template I understand, but explain how the fuck I misused my own personal stupid.
Umm that should read "You're stupid." Who patrols these posts originally to make sure the English grammar is correct? Oh that's right, nobody does. I see this mistake every single time on almost every posting anybody puts online.
Back when Reddit was fun there was a very small sub called r/alot. It imagined that alot was a mythical beast and whatever word came before alot in the sentence was an adjective describing it. The guy artist who created the sub would then draw a new “alot beast” for every post. I miss old Reddit sometimes.
Allie Brosh was on Reddit back in the day. If the drawing style looks familiar, then she might have run a sub for a while before stepping back from the internet.
