When I was like 11 I made two emails, one with a dumb name and another more professional one that’s just my name. I didn’t want to send emails to adults with the dumb name one because I didn’t want to explain it.
My first Hotmail address was based off my football position and jersey number. During high school I changed positions and numbers along the way, making it obsolete like a year after creating it

Exactly and then you can block that one addressband you dont get spam anymore. You can make the addresses up as you go btw, it will receive every email sent to your domain anywaya
Another advantage of having your own domain for email is that you can just pack your shit and move to greener pastures when your current email provider turns to shit. No need to change your email everywhere.
