At this point you’re getting contrarian for the sake of being contrarian.
I’ve got a few close to me, and they go out of their way to shut down other people close to me.
It’s all personal experience, I’m vegan and you can eat what you want, I know other vegan that don’t give a shit either.
I can respect that. It’s a band-aid solution in my opinion, but if I look at how I tolerate half-ass government actions, I have to honestly accept that a band-aid solution should not be faulted too much.
I fail to see how not eating meat is inferior, if you want sustainability meat will always be worse. I’m not saying vegans are superior but they for sure aren’t inferior for sustainability. Calling it a band aid is ridiculous.
I think we’d diverge here, but that’s ok. To me, sustainability is more important
I agree, both are really important to me.
Vegans are not “going to win” and have a kumbaya utopia
I don’t want that, I want regulation that makes all meats good for the animals and the environment so I can eat it again.
But there’s a LOT of even ranchers and hunters of all people who would stand at their side for better regulations on humane treatment.
I agree, vegan should team up with ranchers and hunter for better regulation for sure.
