If you want the full story or details, PM me, I’ll disclose the names of the people and thus, the country I live in (which is what I’m trying to hide in this case).
The issue is 2-fold. You’ve not shown an example of what was originally discussed (blatant breaking of tradition , with no justification other than “because we can”). It is more normal corruption that creeps into all political systems.
That’s exactly what I’ve shown. He went on to be a prime minister after being convicted and then abolished by the president, because… well, he can.
Regarding the last paragraph, there are other examples regarding the same polititian (cover ups of a few unexplained murders while he was in office) which is the smoking gun you’re looking for. In the left’s defence, the right did things like this as well.
My standpoint is both sides are, excuse my French, dogshit. Everyone is looking in their best selfinterest, nothing more.
How big is the spike? If it’s in hundreds of KB, yeah, chances are it really is downloading something. If it’s in bytes, it’s probably dead, those are just sync packets most probably.
These darn icons are pissing me off and there’s not a whole lot i can find in the settings. So on the right sys tray, the bluetooth and network icons are perfect; that’s how I want ever icon to be; perfectly sized, it’s clear and detailed, it looks proper; same with the date and clock. The notification, wifi, and battery...
Hm, that is weird… they should change with the theme…
I don’t know if there is an xfce comm here on Lemmy, but if there is, it’s best to ask there, since this is an xfce specific thing (KDE or other DEs may implement this differently).
EDIT: There is, !xfce, but the last post there is from 4 months ago 😔.
You could actually install Windows on btrfs with that driver 🤨? Never tried it… but would be willing to try, since I’m sick and tired of Windows store corruption 😒.
I use Firefox as my daily driver but sometimes sites just work better on a chromium based browser. I had been using Brave but it seems like they keep adding on more bloat (crypto, VPN, AI) and I’m over it....
One of the few things that differentiates the major distros is the package manager. I’ve been running void on my laptop for the last 3 years and love it. XBPS is super fast and easy to use. It has never left me with a broken system either. That said, I’ve got the itch to switch....

How can I make a smart TV streaming device (Chromecast, Kodi, etc) use speakers connected to my Linux computer?
Hello all,...
Someone picks up a guitar at a party, what song would be hype if they played?
There is always the joke that people only play 1 of 3 songs on a guitar, but is there a song that would make you super happy to hear someone play?
XBPS has spoiled me - advice needed.
