A_Very_Big_Fan,

Recently went to breakfast with a couple of new neighbors (partners). They were asking me what apps I enjoyed and I told them that I WAS enjoying Apollo.

Lol at first I interpreted this as the waiter asking you what appetizers you wanted

A_Very_Big_Fan,

Today i need so much stuff to fight the other stuff, it’s stuffmageddon.

The most relatable statement of the year so far. It’s so exhausting ;-;

A_Very_Big_Fan,

I’m just waiting for the day DRM comes to other ad-riddled websites…

A_Very_Big_Fan,

I think they’re pretty tbh. There’s a huge stretch of them in a field I drive through sometimes, and at night I like to just stop for a second and watch 95% of them all flash their light on top in sync across an impressive distance.

And sometimes there’s one or two flashing out of sync in a weird rhythm and I assume it’s like an error code which I think is pretty interesting

A_Very_Big_Fan,

Wait, do they rotate to face the wind or something? If so, that’s awesome and I never noticed

A_Very_Big_Fan, (edited )

Pfft, cupped hands? I just hold the water in my mouth until I get thirsty

A_Very_Big_Fan,

I mean, I’ve never used JSONs before but I imagine you could still write to them in realtime at least, as inefficient as that sounds lol. So you could probably get the same results on an actual text editor if you could modify it to update the text automatically when it detects a change instead of prompting the user

A_Very_Big_Fan,

That’s what the US does 🤔 how is it safer to leave your cart elsewhere

A_Very_Big_Fan,

Idk, I don’t use ublock but ever since this last wave of allegations of throttling adblock users I’ve been getting videos just refusing to load any of the beginning of the vid after the first couple seconds. It’ll play the last 3/4ths though.

I don’t remember the exact name of my adblock but it’s not ublock origin

Scam Numbers - Reddit's (and possibly the internet's) largest scam number depository, now on Lemmy! (lemmy.zip)

With almost 40k subscribers on Reddit, r/ScamNumbers is one of the most useful online databases for tracking down scam phone numbers. Some use the information for awareness, while others take advantage by prank calling scammers to waste their time....

A_Very_Big_Fan,

One of the main goals of scam baiting is getting a number to call them back on. But yes

A_Very_Big_Fan,

Better than people who insist on being called “Dr.”

A_Very_Big_Fan,

I have a couple terminally online friends that do this. It’s exhausting

that's how it works, right? (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

Description: A three panel comic often referred to as “No take, only throw.” The first panel is a dog biting a toy with the caption “I want to be good at my hobbies.” The second panel is the dog looking angry and refusing to let go of the toy when a hand reaches out to throw it for the dog again, and it has the caption...

A_Very_Big_Fan,

Is it even possible to run a checksum on iOS though?

A_Very_Big_Fan, (edited )

It’s not inherently bad, at least from the user’s perspective, but Windows Defender will make you click “more info” or something before giving you the “run anyways” button since it thinks it’s a risk. I’ve never gotten a virus doing this, though

A_Very_Big_Fan,

I was gonna say, this pic goes harder than the movie did

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zorro no

Edit: just realized you’re probably talking about the comment and not TFS
