My family thinks I’m insane because I almost exclusively get bathroom sink water where I live when I get water. It’s so much better than the kitchen taps.
Only problem with water is that I need to get better about actually remembering to drink enough.
Okay, what happens if your repo doesn’t have a specific software you are looking for? A trusted repo is good, but it won’t have everything you might want. This is especially true for new software or less popular software.
As great as Linux can be, using windows without the bloat or spyware is fine by me. Hell, using it with all that is fine just so long as the end user is happy.
Totally depends on the instance. There are definitely furry communities here in Lemmy and they definitely feel lonely. But I have heard of some furry mastodon instances that actually are lively and active. No idea if they actually are since I don’t have a clue why I can’t access my mastodon account, let alone what instance I signed up on.
But active non-Linux, non-Star Trek meme groups definitely are a thing, despite how small they are.
That sounds like the equivalent of asking a carpenter to build a wooden boat large enough to carry 30 people, but only giving them Fisherprice tools and foam blocks.
I would definitely die sooner than a lot of people because of my mechanical heart valve. The blood thinners and needing to make sure my blood isn’t too thin or thick would be harder since I’ve been getting it checked for over a decade and I’ve never seen them use a non-electric method of testing.
If we are talking strictly console, then the xbox360 is my all time favorite console and preferred console, especially since my absolute favorite controller goes to them as well.
Otherwise, PC is just more convenient for the fact I can use a 3rd party 360 controller and play console games via dedicated emulators or RetroArch cores.
I have a few other consoles, but my desktop and 360 are most definitely my picks for what I’d use if given the choice.
If I had a hacked switch and my computer had better specs to run pokemon violet at even close to 30 frames per second, you bet I’d just back up my games onto my desktop and play them on it using my 3rd party 360 controller.
Anything Jam Hsiao works, but I really like his song A Love Song For You. I also found out about a group called 製燥者StoryMaker and I absolutely love their song Sin of Sloth. I have so many different songs, mostly vocaloid and other related software, songs that I like that are in Chinese, Japanese, some in Korean, and even a song in Ukrainian that I like, but I ain’t doing a super list of songs.
And in the latest games you go to school and then they want you to explore the whole region. They absolutely shook up the plot by making the headmaster want you to explore rather than your mom! It’s revolutionary!
Ya know, the problem I have with the DSi sound recording app thing (I know this is a 3DS, but I digress) is that I got a new SD card and formatted it to see if I could move recorded files to my laptop. Nope! All files were corrupted and deleted after putting in that card and booting up the app.
The big problem I have with joycons is my big, meaty hands. Makes it slightly harder for me to comfortably hold those small controllers when they’re not connected to the switch itself. I’ve totally been thinking of just going down to the nearby game shop one day and getting a controller, if I ever get more switch games to make the investment worthwhile.
