Alteon,

US citizens. I hope your taking notes. This is how you protest. We may need these sorts of strategies in a year.

Alteon,

One off? Probably. You have several hundred people doing this? Not likely. The first-hand optics would shake even the police. They can shoot a person. They can’t open fire on people. Not in the US. Not yet, at least.

Looks good, but your layering and sauce could use some work. Not trying to be critical, I just know that I personally like knowing how I can improve upon things for next time. I’ve made this all the time for family events, and have made the same mistakes.

The sauce needs to be cooked down so it’s thick and rich. You don’t want a watery sauce, because you wind up with soupy lasagna that just falls apart when cut (which is what you see in the first picture). You’ll find that your lasagna hold a great shape when you do this.

As for the layering, if you have a thicker sauce use a thicker noodle, otherwise you can keep them pretty thin (0.8-1.0mm). Parboil after making the noodles so that way you don’t have to worry about water content in sauce. Lastly, don’t leave pasta exposed to oven, you’ll end up with gross crunchy, sometimes inedible noodles. I’ll typically add a thin top layer of sauce and coat it with thinly shredded cheese.

Other than that, it looks really good. The bechamel is a great addition to it. If you really want to take it to the next level, try braised short rib for your next lasagna, I typically cook it the night before in whatever sauce I intend to use for the lasagna, and then leave it in fridge for 24 hours to let the flavor develop more. Makes for an extremely rich, thick tomato sauce and the beef shreds up nicely for a good thin layer. Alvin Zhou does a recipe very similar: m.youtube.com/watch?v=-aCJtxibSpA

Alteon,

Dude…as in they peed the bed, themselves, the floor, or have thrown up, or somehow made a giant time-sensitive mess that they feel they can’t clean up themselves. Grow up.

Alteon,

Or the ability to forgo sleep indefinitely. I’ve got too much shit I want to do and too little time.

Alteon,

Until everyone is also driving the 6,000 lb death machine. Now you need to get the 9,000 lb death machine to compensate and thus the cycle restarts until everyone commutes to work in literal tanks because “it’s safer”.

Alteon,

I mean I get both sides here. We live in a free market economy, where the scarcity of something affects the cost of it. People want land close to the city and there’s an extremely limited amount of it. If there are n*100 people and only n parcels of land in a small area, how do you provide it to people? Do you sell it? Is it a lottery system? Is the land sold at a base value that never changes? Like, how do you envision this going?

Right now, people have to freedom to buy as much land as they want and set the pricing for that land. What we need is a property owner tax that scales up depending on the amount of property that you own. Though this will just make more land available. No one in their right mind will sell it for less than it’s worth though.

Alteon,

A righty tighty will always be a lefty loosey. What you got there is a “torquey teary”. Ease up on installation there Magilla.

Alteon,

You just need to rebrand it. It’s not a skirt. It’s a kilt.

It’s not a dress, it’s a long tunic.

It’s not jeggings, it’s…uh…stretchy jeans.

Alteon,

How are they so damn good? Ive got an old '02 Tacoma with 350k miles on it and the original transmission that I still drive around because the damn thing just keeps going.

Alteon,

Entire thing got replaced for free about 8 years ago. Including full brake lines, rear suspension, and a few other things.

Alteon,

So let me get this straight, the developers make a game, and then immediately mgmt lays everyone off so that they can reap the rewards? The developers should be getting their piece of the pie as they are the ones that made this happen.

It’s time to unionize, or you’re going to be permanently railroaded. We’re letting the corporate world do this to us. IN EVERY SINGLE FUCKING OCCUPATION!

We get paid penny’s on the dollar compared to upper management. Do you think they work harder than you? It’s time to tip the scales in the direction of the worker. We need a General Strike, or we will NEVER be comfortable again. It will only get worse.

Alteon,

Hmm…fine…I’ll put my pitchfork down.

Still though. Most of my point still stands. Something is going to give. The next 10 years are going to be interesting.

Alteon,

I use Connect but don’t have that issue.

Whenever there’s more comments but you can’t see them. It’s because a mod likely deleted them. Has happened several times.

Alteon,

Oh. That’s different. Submit a report to the dev maybe?

Alteon,

I think this is the most terrifying thing he’s ever made… Damn.

To one up this one-up, use chili oil instead.

You can also add chili flakes, green onions, and thinly sliced meats such as bacon, spam, or chicken. You can also cheaply garnish with nori and sesame seeds. Or just top that shit with a slice of American Cheese. That’s fine too.

Alteon,

Helllll yes. Is surprisingly delicious.

Alteon,

Cook with the white part, finish with the green. Quantity is subjective, put as much as looks appealing. I put probably 2-3 tbsp.

More, thinner cuts = stronger taste. If you just want that bright pop of green in a dish, use longer cuts like 1+" long. Check out how they do it with stirfries.

Also. NEVER EVER EVER, throw away the bulb at the end. Put it in dirt, and you’ll grow massive bunches of green onion. After like 10-20 bulbs, I just get year round massive stalks of green onion - it’s fantastic and comes back every year.

Alteon, (edited )

It’d be perfect in a planter. You can shove a bunch in there about an 1" or 2" apart. They will get MASSIVE. Like 3x bigger in diameter (not leek big, but still). I probably have about 10-20 bulbs going, and just keep cutting until I have enough for whatever dish I need. I never run out… It takes a short bit for them to get established, but it was one of the best things I’ve done in awhile. I never have to buy them any more…been going that way for almost 3 years now.

Alteon,

I probably left 1-2" or so along the bottom. You could likely get away with shorter than that honestly.

Alteon,

Get a banana hanger. It provides better airflow and keeps the ethylene gas that bananas emit from stagnating around them. This gas is what ripens the fruit so fast. In fact, you can put other fruits around bananas and they’ll ripen faster as well.

The other benefit is that it helps prevent bruising on the bottom of the bananas and makes them last longer as well.

You can have bananas last for up to 2 weeks with this method.

Alteon,

Better put on your tin foil hat and microwave your phones!

That prevents them from tracking you, mind controllering you, and activating the 5G nodules in your COVID Vaccine that Trump the deep state created to wipe out the liberal sheeples. Don’t ask why liberals seem to have a higher survival rate than conservatives, just keep listening to me…the COVID Vaccine is going to kill you. It’s going to mutate little COVID penises and turn you gay from the inside out. Concentration camps, FEMA Penis penis penis penis penis penis penis 8=============>~~~~~
