Anticorp,

I knew it was my time to join the old group when “slaps” became popular.

Anticorp,

It’s used to imply something is good, ie. “that slaps!”

Anticorp,

I see it online all the time.

Anticorp,

It’s a bit extreme to say Ubuntu sucks ass. Ubuntu brought Linux to the masses.

Anticorp,

I love gnome!

Anticorp,

Arch is awesome. I use Arch on my laptop. I’ve been thinking about changing my Pop desktop to Arch, but the GFX driver management for Pop is super convenient and I have steam all set up exactly as I want it. I don’t really want to go through all the set-up again.

Anticorp,

Touché!

Anticorp,

Code comments are useful for browsing a script and understanding it at a glance. I shouldn’t have to scroll up and down across 700 lines of code to figure out what’s happening. It’s especially useful with intellisense, since I can just hover over a function and get a tooltip showing the comment, explaining what it does. It also helps when using functions imported from other files, since it’ll populate the comment showing me what parameters are needed and what each should be. Comments save time, and time is valuable.

Anticorp,

There’s a bigger issue than your commit message if you don’t even know what you just coded and are committing.

Anticorp,

When Jim Morrison wrote People Are Strange, he actually meant People Are Stupid.

Anticorp,

There’s nothing trivial about bar room disagreements. People die over those. That professor just saved someone’s life.

Anticorp,

I read once that your body does it when your blood is low in oxygen, but I have no idea if that’s true or not.

Anticorp,

I bought it when it released. Does that mean that I can go back and play it again without paying more money? The subscription thing is what has stopped me from going back to Eve Online. I actually reinstalled it a month or so ago, logged in, saw that I couldn’t even undock with the ship I was in, and uninstalled it. That was disappointing.

Anticorp,

What is GG?

Idk if you consider this fake or not, but there’s considerably more plastic surgery, Botox, veneers, teeth bleaching, and appearance oriented behaviors these days. Especially in movies, but also in real life. There’s not a single actor with natural teeth now, except for Steve Buschimi. Even he probably bleaches his teeth. You used to see people everywhere as they were naturally. Now it’s very common to see people who have had cosmetic procedures done. There’s also a lot more bodybuilding and body sculpting now. That one is possibly a positive, since it contributes to a person’s overall health. Go watch a movie from the 70’s. The actors look like real people. Now every actor looks like digitally sculpted perfection.

Anticorp,

I only encountered a few noticeable bugs during the entire game. This one, one really bad one where Withers wasn’t in his sarcophagus, and a couple of times when audio or cloud effects would glitch out. Overall I’m incredibly impressed with this game. I think it’s the best game I’ve ever played. I just finished it up tonight and the ending was amazing. Every single dialogue gave me pause, and had me thinking about the ramifications of my decisions, as if it were real life. I think the game is a monumental achievement.

Anticorp,

Lol, what! I never hired them, so I guess I skirted a big issue by merit of virtue alone.

Anticorp,

Thank you.

Yes. I didn’t even know I was supposed to save him. I made sure not to kill his little hamster though. Whoops! Mystery solved! I was kind of speed reading her statements in my last conversation with her. I guess I missed something. I was eager to tidy up loose ends and defeat the brain.

Magic legs… You got magic legs, Lt. Dan!

Anticorp,

That’s awesome! I told my wife a couple of weeks ago how this game has some really neat details, like each companion having their own mannerisms, unique walk, things they do while standing around, and stuff like that. Now I know why. What a masterpiece this game is.

Save corruption?

When will the patches be stable enough that one would -with a reasonable degree of certainty- no longer expect save corruption anymore in the process? Because I will not, can not, do the first couple hours yet again at this point. I may roll another character when things have settled down and any further twiddling will be mostly...

Anticorp,

That might be a system specific issue you’re having. I played 160 hours across PC, and PS5, just beat the game last night, and haven’t encountered any save file corruption.
