Exposed for what? Is it a blackface thing? I guess I don’t get it.

Anticorp, to memes in Indigenous Indignation

Most tribes didn’t have a concept of land ownership, so they wouldn’t say “that we own”.

Anticorp, to linuxmemes in Your PC will thank you...

I do use Linux, and I’m usually glad about it, but I wasted an hour last night trying to figure out how to change my microphone port to a subwoofer port, and never did solve the problem. Linux is awesome, but sometimes basic stuff is ridiculously difficult or impossible.

Anticorp, (edited ) to asklemmy in What is a nifty little feature modern gadgets have lost?

The audio port for headphones and headsets. Replaceable batteries. Extendable storage. Fuckers charge 100x more for every little upgrade now.

Anticorp, to asklemmy in What search engine do you recommend that isn't Google or Bing?

Oh boy, you’re about to learn a lesson in humility and perseverance.

Anticorp, to privacy in So, Neuralink got FDA approval for human trials, and a certain fanbase is VERY excited about that

I want to thank Facebook for making it blatantly obvious to us that we should never get any brain implants. They’ll definitely use them to read your thoughts and push ads straight into your consciousness. Oh, and you’ll probably have to pay a subscription.

Anticorp, to asklemmy in Do hiccups serve any actual useful biological function?

I read once that your body does it when your blood is low in oxygen, but I have no idea if that’s true or not.

Anticorp, to cyanideandhappiness in 9 September 2023

Wow, he’s getting dark these days.

Anticorp, to linux in Is it actually dangerous to run Firefox as root?

It’s about as dangerous as using IE in the old days, or Edge in administrator mode.

Anticorp, to memes in Metal must have some sort of restorative property

One could even say it sounds like “incoherent mumbling”.
