Now, gamers will want to play on Linux for the low latency on online games.

Why not stopping developing apps for Apple systems? Fuck them.

Aradia, to linux in Just install EndeavorOS lol

I don’t have any issue with Arch, everything works. But when I try other distros, they are mostly messed up.

What’s the goal? This looks silly.

Aradia, to linux in The Unity Desktop Environment an Underrated Masterpiece
@Aradia@lemmy.ml avatar

I still think KDE is a much smarter desktop environment and much more light or fast. I never liked GNOME 3 and Unity had many performance issues in the past. I also tried GNOME 3 recently and still, I needed many plugins to make it good and usable and was still lacking much stuff, while on KDE works all perfectly. I’m waiting for Plasma 6 now. :D

It’s good to have a hint on what he changed, if the whole text completely or was just a typo. It doesn’t hurt…

When I worked on auto-maker on the head units, they were integrated on the chip, the ones that had a sim slot where you can insert and extract it were the ones for development. Recent cars, their GPS and screen media menus uses the Linux inside the modem chip.

Aradia, to linux in I didn't know where else to ask this, if there is another comm i should ask please lmk. Do you have any suggestions for wireless headphones i can use with linux?
@Aradia@lemmy.ml avatar

More than “with Linux” you should indicate how much do you expect to spend here, it’s not about the OS, it’s about what kind of headsets you want (what features).

And it comes down to a fundamental question: Will the European Commission follow through with its intent to right-size Apple’s abuse of power? Or will the DMA be nice in theory, but in practice, have no substantive meaning for most developers?

From Spotify.

If you don’t put the “Edit:” you will never know if it was a typo or a whole text.

WhatsApp will be never private and secure, while Telegram will be never private. 😁

Aradia, (edited ) to privacy in Can I edit .docx files without a Microsoft 365 subscription and if not are there any alternatives
@Aradia@lemmy.ml avatar

You can activate it with these scripts github.com/…/Microsoft-Activation-Scripts (I think it’s the easiest way for you as you are already using it and the only issue it’s the stupid message to force you to pay for it)

But would be nice if you were not forced to use Microsoft Office.

Worried about DAS, but not about Google? 🤔 “USA Freedom Act”? They forgot about PRISM? DAS sounds just ISP work for PRISM law. As any USA company is forced to.

I am into tech/programming/devops, I make my own servers, but I would still prefer to be under CGNAT as I feel more safe. I wouldn’t open any port or tunnel to my local home network, I wouldn’t feel that safe. So for me, a CGNAT is perfect.

Unless you get an expensive car, I think they do that to reduce expenses. Expensive cars have dedicated CPU for that, but they still communicate with the head unit for online data.
