I would say that was a strong influence but there were a lot of custom games with some of the elements of DOTA before it. I think DOTA defined the entire genre and how all the elements work first. Brood War just didn’t even have the options to make a real MOBA.
That’s a game I hadn’t thought of in a long time. I wanted that to be good so badly. It just wasn’t though. Didn’t run well, wasn’t fun. Apparently someone has remade the game with the same name + the overprime. Wonder if they made it any better.
I was paying extra attention to this the last 3 days and i noticed that about 8 of 10 people: hold their dogs close preemptively (most of the time nothing happens wiht those) dogs bork and need to be held back people cross to the other side...
I’ve always had well trained dogs, but I currently have one I just cannot seem to get under control with other dogs on walks. She will pull and bark anytime I get anywhere near another dog. Seems vicious, she just wants to play so bad… I have another dog and they play but he’s more chill than her and she just wants to play so badly with every random dog in the world. Treats, spankings, training collar, bark collar, nothing has worked.
5th dog, only one I wasn’t easily able to train. Probably because she’s an abused rescue dog and I just can’t break her of it. Sometimes it’s just not easy. I have to choke up on her and cross the street to not freak people with dogs out.
Go look into it. It was a single extremist settlers account. It’s completely made up. They ran the story to control the narrative. It’s what they’ve been doing for decades.
They clearly came to market too early. Trying to time the death of twitter. The 5-10 minutes I spent on that shit was enough to see how broken it was and how many features were missing. You can’t come to market with a broken product in a space that requires exponential growth and the network effect to achieve success.
Lobsters are the cockroaches. Shrimp are more like, crickets maybe in the pecking order of the food chain and shell density. But basically all the shellfish with exoskeletons are super similar to bugs. Crabs are clearly basically spiders.
In the southern US we have air conditioning everywhere. People avoid going outside except for very early or late in the day when the sun isn’t on you. I try to get any yard work or anything outside down before 10am and avoid going outside the rest of the day.
Yesterday was actually a “nice” day where I’m at because the high was “only” 34C. People were outside enjoying it, but still avoided the sun and were mostly out in the morning and afternoon in shaded areas.
If you rewatch scrubs make sure to torrent some seasons with the original music. Anything up on a streaming service won’t have it because they didn’t buy good enough music rights to include streaming and all the songs Re replaced with stuff that’s not nearly as good/fitting. Makes a huge difference in the show IMO.
I’ll go first: “You have to have children when you’re young,” told to me when I was in my late 20s, with no desire to ever have kids, and no means to support them, by someone divorced multiple times with at least one adult child who does not speak to them....

If you only criticize civilian casualties when Palestine resists, then your concern isn't civilian casualties. Your concern is Palestine resisting massacre. (lemy.lol)

People from the "hotter" regions, how do you deal with the heat?
I am from Eastern Europe and this is the hottest summer on my memory. For at least 3 consecutive years the heat is breaking all records....
What series did you rewatch most often?
Movies are great, but now on to the real deal. Honestly? Who has time to rewatch a series??...
What is the most unhelpful advice you have received?
