All I want is shuffle not to repeat until I’ve heard (or skipped) every song.
I mean really what they should do is provide some degree of control over the shuffle parameters… But hey ho, back to listen to whatever Spotify thinks is my favourite song.
I think if you take today’s pop music and do a side by side comparison with 90s pop you’d be surprised by how different they are. Not to mention, there are many many electronic genres and subgenres around today that have arisen in recent years.
I seed way beyond the requirements, I’m totally happy for other people not to. I have a swanky setup that suits it - might as well. If you don’t, don’t.
Christ, I have it running 24/7 and I’m only at ~1.5TB of uploads. Tbf as pointed out elsewhere I’m “competing” with seedboxes so not hugely surprising.
Purely condiments, ketchup please. I never use the other two. As cooking ingredients through… Mustard is indispensable. Overall I use a lot more mustard (seed, wholegrain, and Dijon) than any condiment.
I heard on the radio this morning the government singing their own praises after reintroducing pint size bottles of wine. A “Brexit benefit”. This is after 99% of those surveyed said they wanted metric sizes. 99%!
I’ve never had a Facebook account or any other social media. I know they keep shadow profiles, but I’ve never given permission. I never had any interest and frankly still don’t....
Don’t join LinkedIn unless you need to look for a corporate job. Be a trailblazer and join Mastodon or something if you need an online presence… Frankly I don’t have a single social media account that I appreciate having. It’s occasionally useful to find people on Facebook, but there’s nothing really it gives me that getting someone’s phone number doesn’t.
That’s part of what I’m getting at. The musical culture at the time arose through the work of many, many composers, and through the listeners who talked about it etc. Cultural development is complex and requires much more than just a handful of geniuses.
The idea that population numbers are all it takes is so stupid. Mozart is not just one guy who was really good at writing music. I mean, obviously, he literally was, but he only existed and wrote what he did in the way he did because of not only his own “genius” but also the circumstances he was raised in, his education, the musical traditions that he drew from, the fact that he was wealthy and had time… Etc etc.
Adding more people living in poverty, with poor education, no connection to musical or artistic tradition, and no time… Will not add more Mozarts.
I’ve had an Xperia for years. It’s indestructible I swear, never had it in a case and it’s been dropped, kicked, smacked, and generally knocked around for all of those years with hardly a scratch on it. I want to say I’m due an upgrade so I could think about a newer one, buuuut… Honestly it’s just such a trooper I don’t see why I’d bother. The XZ1 is nearly 7 years old now so the camera frankly sucks, but that’s it.
