I love not being bombarded by ads thanks to pihole and adblockers. I don’t have cable TV either. But without browsing netlifx/Hulu/etc. how do you actually find stuff to watch and discover worthwhile shows and movies to rent from my library?
As per title… You have a working new comment counter, but unless I’m blind (please show I’m blind), the actual new comments don’t get highlighted when you go into the thread.
Is there any way to filter or exclude these? I know people post the same link to different communities around the same time to get maximum reach but it gets annoying seeing the same post 2-3 times in a row....
The current layoffs are actually just a return to pre covid levels. The gaming companys went on a hiring spree during covid and now they can’t pay for people doing essentially nothing

Yes black Friday. But that’s a shitshow in all imaginable ways anyway, besides that its not that bad.
And yes i “support” it until i can find some else that can supply me small quantities of very specific things for a reasonable price in short time.
I don’t like Amazon, but they aren’t the worst either. Also, you use their stuff as well, Amazon isn’t just the web-shop, its also server hosting and other IT solutions, most stuff you use has some Amazon In it.
When i say i need it than it is like that. And in my country its not that bad regarding their worker treatment, shure its not perfect but nothing compared to USA because there are laws here…
Image is to big, its a instance issue, some instances don’t allow uploads at all and most impose size restrictions, try using a hoster outside of lemmy (postimages.org, catbox.moe etc.)

I write the shit in the explanation before programming it, its a way to construct a code in human language and logic, with my manual you could program the exact same program in another programming language. (i cant show it because what i program is company secret, including the manual) and yes its kinda boring but everyone is grateful for it and for the things i do i need to make shure its never failing, so its checked by several different people, and such a manual helps a lot for everyone.

Works perfectly for me, maybe it goes to a hidden folder (folder with .nomedia file in it) or your internet is ass (but so is mine right now i have H (2G+ i think) and it works)
