Another alternative could be Google Play gift cards from cheaper countries. You can buy Youtube Premium through it. Look up their currencies and search gift cards with that currency.

If you’re not doing stuff with them; not much point.

Since these devices have ARM processors, they can be embedded to places that doesn’t need high power and contain smaller volume; unlike PCs. You can host your a Jellyfin server on one, host a pi-hole so that you filter out every internet traffic from ads on another. Maybe a small FTP server that you can use as cloud storage?

Similar to what happened to Netflix, competing services will harm this process. Currently the most comparable to old Netflix is the Xbox Game Pass; which if companies like EA and Ubisoft pulled their games from; it would be way less prefered.

As the profits that come to these companies decrease, they’ll be more tempted to focus more on their own subsctiption platforms. Game industry has this trick up its sleeve that some games can be played 1000s of hours, but even adding games of this nature; satisfying every player with a single subscription service is impossible.

Look up compression methods, work out which would work best for your needs. Maybe re-encode your video files with H.265 which offers lower filesize for similar quality, or decrease the frame rate of the video files.

I don’t know if uTorrent does ratelimit torrents someway (they shouldn’t be by theory), but it being adware is enough of a result to switch to another torrent client.

I’m more of a fan of Deluge, but alternatives like qBittorrent / Transmission are solid choices.

Each of these sites Tachiyomi uses are compliant with DMCA. Not taking it down on them and instead crippling Tachiyomi is literally the worst action to do.

Linkedin is the only social media I would reccomend to put yourself out (as in, put your successful projects in) as it’s used more as a networking tool to land yourself in better jobs.

Every fediverse site can interact with each other; so to ban interacting with lemmy.ml; you’ll also need to ban the entire fediverse; not to mention the oncoming new fediverse capable sites. Pretty much a piracy hydra situation but each head can be linked to each other, with the exception that fediverse sites hosted on India might not be able to reach the sites banned on India.

If lemmy.ml gets banned, you can still follow communities there using another fediverse site like lemmy.world or mastodon.social.

Allows you to set which quality you want on each show you want specifically. Maybe you’re looking for an old show in its original quality and not some improperly upscaled version.

There are multiple options.

  1. Find a private tracker that focuses on content in your own language. This is the option you should go for if you’re looking for more dubs.
  2. Fetch subtitles externally. Sites like opensubtitles can provide subtitles for your files.
  3. Use tags. Scene naming format typically includes the language the file is in. (en stands for English, ru stands for russian etc.);

There is a crack team called MKDEV that targets Football Manager series which uses a slightly weaker version of Denuvo. They didn’t crack the 2024 series so far, but chances are they will sometime soon.

If you earn/get big enough to care about it, then you would in the first place. Most software piracy busting methods revolves around existence of a snitch who knows you’re pirating. You definitely can get away with it if you’re just pirating it yourself, but a corporation with like 100 workers cannot do it when all it takes is one person to get busted.

On sound effects / samples it depends on how many people see it, so you don’t need to worry too much unless you get popular similarly.

Note that on softer cheese, both of these would be same. If you see outer spores, that means they’ve grown too much on its inside and made mycel webs enough to contaminate it.
