The idea that we were warmongers was made up to justify stealing our land. Who was it that welcomed the colonists with open arms until they spat in our ancestor’s faces? Our stories talk about war parties going out and coming back home with zero blood shed. What conflicts we did have were extremely low intensity, we didn’t have the numbers for the horrific wars like the ones waged against us by the colonists.
Many of the tribes were nomadic, we didn’t have oil reserves to war over. We had hunting grounds and fishing spots and art, and just about everyone agreed that these things weren’t worth dying for.
Infinite growth is not a good thing, numbers rise and fall just let it do it’s own thing. That being said, maybe if the Lemmy instances would stop defederating like children snatching toys from one another at a daycare it would get more engagement.
That doesn’t make a single bit of sense. Not all Jewish people are Israelis, in fact most of them are not. All Israelis are colonists and have the ability to leave to a different country at any time.
In contrast Palestinians have nowhere else to go because they are a colonized people trying to live on land that is being stolen from them while being bombed and shot every day. Even before Oct. 7th this has been the case.
