YouTuber HBomberguy just released a video on plagiarism. Another well known YouTube video about that caving incident was wholesale stolen from an article about it (but I don’t think it was either of your articles.) Must be the “vaguely related to caving” time of the year!
I think that this is canonically untrue. Federation vessels do have multiple bathrooms or “heads” in military jargon, including personal ones attached to officer quarters.
However, Memory Alpha does corroborate the version I remember, which is Frakes talking on some behind the scenes special about how there’s only one bathroom on the entire Enterprise-D. Scroll down a bit to the “Background” section. memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Bathroom

Since there’s only one bathroom, I’ve been assuming that engineering just teleports all the bodily waste out of the crew and directly into the replicators’ matter feeds, Hogwarts-style. Saves time, keeps the crew light and active, keeps the transport operators sharp while between planets.
Seems like a technicality: she legally* couldn’t hold a job but was obviously doing the work. (fingersnaps, yassssss nagus)
Likewise, Garak has a job (tailor, salesperson) and also, allegedly, has real power and influence within the Cardassian spy-network/government.
The Prophets though, legit, those trans-corporeal bums can go get a real job. “We exist beyond linear time” yeah buddy, I like to get high and sit on the couch too but we all need to eat.
Reminds me of D&D how the party can have a full strategy session between rounds like the Lich King can’t hear them and also took a 10 minute breather between spells. I do occasionally as DM remind people that they’re in the middle of a fight, especially when analysis paralysis sets in.
A lot of comics and cartoons stretch time a bit for talking. Jojo really abuses the concept though, they’ll pause mid-punch for a legit science lecture!
This is like when I put on dubs and subs, because I’m lazy and hard of hearing! It’s fun because they never use the same translation for both so you get to watch the two fight it out over what’s being said!
National Novel Writing Month, often abbreviated NaNoWriMo, is an annual event encouraging people to finally write that novel they’ve always said they would. The goal is to write 50K words during the month. There are usually meet ups, writing workshops, and other gatherings so participants can encourage each other, share ideas, and generally have fun being part of a thing.
Edit to add: The “nation” is the USA I’m assuming. I’m in the USA and have only heard of it being a US thing. Presumably if you live somewhere else and want to write a book in November, the various online communities would be glad to have you though.
