Same. I can’t watch English movies on a TV because I just don’t understand it… But then with headphones on everything is perfect.

Most likely it’s just a worn out micro usb port, which are usually super shitty.

Ah yes… it is easy as long as you do something difficult first.

Reminds me of that comment on Dropbox where some guy said it’s going to fail because he can easily build something similar with an ftp server.

Buy the JST plug with the right pin pitch (in your case 2mm), and grind it so it fits. You can find male to female cables, so you also don’t have to modify the original connector on your noctua fan.

One possiblity would be to cut the original cable and add a new connector to both sides. A female one to the one that goes to the board, and a male one to the one on the fan.

That way you have all the original parts still there, but you can use the one part of the cable as an adapter.

The identifying property of those connectors is usually the exact distance between the pins. So in your case something with a “2,5” in the name.

Hi, I tried creating a new logo: postimg.cc/Jyq6HCNX

I don’t know if you like it, but it’s definitely better than the old reddit one ._.

I’ll look if I can find something nice for the banner too. But worst case I would just use a closeup of some electrical board.

It doesn’t seem horribly corroded. I would just sand it down to bare metal and just use it like that.
