Not a mechanic but even if it is technically too old you maybe be fine if you keep it and in the event you get a flat simply replace the flat with a new tire, after getting to a tire shop on the spare.
Im not really a political person but the one thing I do care about is pot. Which candidate is most supportive of federally legalizing or at least bumping down the schedule 4 drug status of pot.
You aren’t just heating up your own body w/ homeostasis, you’re heating up the air around you as it radiates off of your body. You will be warmer with tighter fitting clothes. Looser clothes can help with air flow, but if the air is -10°F air flow isn’t your friend.
Insulation is about trapping the air your body has warmed up next to your body, so you don’t need to constantly spend energy heating up cold air.
I’m not sure what sort of activity you’re planning on so I can’t give very good recommendations on exactly what to wear. But I would say just buy clothes that fit you. You probably shouldn’t be wearing so many thick layers that it requires you to go a size up.
Also keep in mind if you’re so warm you start to sweat, once you cool down that sweat is going to make you feel even colder.
Again wear wool, Merino wool if you can. Don’t wear cotton.
They say that you can’t get a proper seal with a beard, but I’ve managed to do it before. I wouldn’t be shocked if it did. And if it didn’t a slight leak is may still preferable to complete exposure.
There are a lot of varying opinions on how complex flags should be. Some prefer that flags be kept more simple and minimal, and others feel that simple flags come off as bland, corporate, and unflaglike. What do you think?...
Like with engineering, the fewer components the better. Of course each flag still needs to effectively relay it’s message.
I think Canada has a great example flag. It’s only used two colors, stripes, and one unique shape.
Also something to factor in is how unique is your flag. The Ivory Coast will forever be mistaken for Ireland. Both are simple but added detail could have avoided this.

Ask Lemmy is a place to ask thought provoking questions. The mods have been lenient with some of the recent posts on the basis that they must provoke thought for some people, but after seeing two posts essentially saying “what do you think of my stick?”, I believe we can raise the bar a bit on what kind of thoughts we want...
Both should be welcome. Especially with the current state of Lemmy (low user base), over moderation can be a real thing.
More narrowly tailored communities have narrower appeal and Q&A communities function off of their number of users.
This is one reason why on Reddit r/AskReddit (44M) has more users than r/AskMen (5.8M). And why r/AskMen has more users than r/AskMenOverThirty (458K).
This question is not restricted to online communities like lemmy, the scope also encompasses communities like small villages, interest groups (i.e. for hobbies) and political parties.
One aspect I think Lemmy lacks is the ability for some contained discussion. To much leads to feed back loops but not enough discourages niche communities.
This is something Reddit’s scale does well. Reddit communities will have most of their posts never make it to the 5th page of All. There will still be break out posts but most likely the only people reading your post are those in your community.
With the current size of most niche lemmy communities you are posting to thise in your community as much as you’re posting to who ever is viewing All by new.
They probably didn’t hire any lawyers for their writing team. This is pretty common in legal movies and shows. They aren’t making movies for lawyers who know about ex parte hearings. They’re making movies for the average Joe who can be convinced someone was found guilty in a civil case.

There’s a lot of bad names you can call America, toothless isn’t one of them. A second 9/11 would only increase mil/def sending cause a new series of foreign wars increasing global instability and decreasing the average American’s quality of life.
Hate is a strong word. I definitely don’t trust them to do the right thing in any scenario, but I have to admit in a few spaces like video sharing (YouTube) they are the place to go, with competition being far behind them.
