Flax_vert,

Booze cruise

Flax_vert,

Is it true that the truck bed on those yank tanks are basically unusable due to height or shape or something, and are purely cosmetic?

Flax_vert,

Does this damage the computer? Or can it be fixed with a restart

Flax_vert,

Division comes before Multiplication, doesn’t it? I know BODMAS.

Flax_vert,

In the UK it shouldn’t happen before Remembrance Sunday

Flax_vert,

Not the community I wanted but the community I needed.

I feel like the Steam Deck is the best proof of Gabe Newell's quote that "piracy is a service issue."

They could have easily crammed the Steam Deck full of stuff to make it hard to use for piracy - locking down everything, making it usable only to play games you legitimately own, force you to go through who knows what hoops in order to play games on it. That’s what Nintendo or Apple or most other companies do....

Flax_vert, (edited )

Speaking of services, I wonder how much piracy would go down if Netflix and Disney Plus and such would let you rent a film or episode at £0.50-£2 at a time for 24 hours, like how Google Play used to let you. That way if you don’t own one of the subscriptions, you can still watch by paying pocket change. Or watch unlimited by paying the monthly fee.

Flax_vert,

Ironically, white hatting generally pays more than black hatting

Flax_vert,

Yeah, didn’t he also attack user data from BT/EE? And apparently stalked women or something. As funny and impressive as this specific incident is, it was a final straw

Flax_vert,

It makes sense. Websites in a browser shouldn’t be able to detect keystrokes outside of the tab

Flax_vert,

No, it’s probably because websites running in Chrome might lack the ability to detect keystrokes in the background. If they did, that’s a very very concerning security risk.

If they wanted to force you, they’d just disable the web app lmao

Flax_vert,

The infancy Gospel of Thomas was written well over one hundred years after Jesus had already left earth, in the second century. It claimed that Jesus performed random frivolous miracles for fun, when the Gospel of John said that the water to wine miracle was the first. We also don’t know who “Thomas the Israelite” is either.

It’s likely just something someone made up to try and give a narrative for Jesus’ childhood.

Jesus also likely cast the demons out of Mary Magdalene while in His thirties. Jesus wouldn’t need a female partner if He actually was truly God.

Flax_vert,

Or the ones who thought street lighting was demonic. This pattern has basically occurred repeatedly throughout history

Flax_vert,

If it was a biblical fact, you could give me details by giving me biblical references, not a french fiction novel 😂

Flax_vert,

She was just one of His many followers, it’s quite an absurd speculation. Also doesn’t say that she was a prostitute anywhere.

Flax_vert,

Sorry mate, I think you’re just crazy.

It’s likely just paranoid people using religion to justify their paranoia

Flax_vert,

Didn’t the UK’s covid track and trace system break because it was running on excel

Flax_vert,

GNU is not Unix is not Unix is not Unix image manipulation program toolkit
