As i understand google and Microsoft don’t really fit here

Probably the definition should look something like: companies that proactively did actions towards harming open source culture/community/movement. Don’t respect foss licensing, etc

I nominate Gitea for this one, for hijacking the project, and making it for profit organization

Also, Ultimate Guitar with their kido musescore, for basically trying to do the same thing that manga company is trying to do right now

And my favorite… Facebook for their oculus privacy and for threatening to sue everyone who tries to jailbreak or modify their devices

Simple tools is probably not considered open source anymore

P.S. oh! Really also think about Proton, Brave, and Telegram

Three companies that are famous for saying they are foss, but in really it’s often not exactly that

Proton’s and telegram’s servers are not foss

Telegram and brave had many instances of delaying publishing the source, even though they already updated the apps

Also, not sure how about now, but telegram is famous for having not reproducible builds, brave probably too

I have some friends working in the police, many years they showed me how they can read messages of like anyone on telegram I was trying to tell people to stop using telegram for years, but now at least therecs some conversation is going on because of the journalists

Maybe their point was that you cannot filter the images, like by color, size, license, etc

But anyway, if I want to show somebody a picture of something it works perfectly As for the results, they are pretty comparable between searx, ddg, and googlag.

I would even say searx wins on this one because 1. It’s easier to navigate and open images 2. The nojs version of the search looks so much better than any other search engine

Not many UIs can do containers and VMs

[Sorry for my not really well written reply, you really need to try different options, and in my opinion proxmox is like the only choice because of how many cool things you can do there]

Proxmox I just really good, and if you want to spin up VMs easily you will need to reshape your setup anyway

With proxmox you can do like everything with VMs, containers, etc. Not just managing only containers, or just showing status of the VMs

Also, proxmox is not really an operating system, it’s a service on top of Debian (in many cases you start installing proxmox by installing Debian)
