If it’s anything like superstore in Canada, they need too much babysitting. Even if there is a store specific person able to fix problems to prevent them from happening again, corporate will force push an update that reverts it. Lots of product entries for things not available on that side of the country will return after being removed and all they do is lock up the system because they don’t actually exist. Every little thing requires the human cashier to reset or override something. I ran 8 at a time on my own when they were new but most people couldn’t do that while ensuring nobody notices the problems and get angry. 4 is reasonable for a non-beginner. Any more requires ridiculous micromanaging.

To date I have not found any degree of enjoyment in any games with a windows only anti-cheat.

I meant OLED burn in specifically but I suppose a screensaver would technically work, although I prefer the pixel shift hack available on some devices. Does stuff like draw status bar icons with a dithering pattern and swaps the on pixels with their off neighbors. Dunno if it actually works as intended though. The phone that had it got destroyed.

It just boots to desktop unless you have AMD GPU and install the deck edition to a regular PC. Seconding the rec though. It has become my main.

I finally switched back to Linux as my daily driver after a couple of years of being on nothing but Windows.

I ran Manjaro Linux as my daily driver a few years ago but slowly phased it out for Windows for some reason, and I’m finally back using Linux (currently Linux Mint). I gotta say, I don’t know why I ever switched back to Windows. There’s just so much freedom Linux gives you right off the bat that Windows is just plain...

As a long time Ubuntu hater, no. They did so much weird de shit that I eventually had to fuck off and I’ve been happier(in regards to computers only) ever since.
