As for the decline in fertility statement, that has been scientifically proven for decades and assumed for centuries. Women are born with a set amount of eggs, they typically go through at least one per ovulation cycle, they start reaching the end in their 30s and risks of birth defects start increasing in their 30s
Ubisoft should get comfortable with the idea of going out of business. I refuse to buy anything of theirs or interact with their shit launcher. Bad practices and bad products combined mean bankruptcy and i hope it happens soon so decent companies can get ahold of their IPs and make some good games out of them because Ubisoft is clearly not interested in doing so
Difference is that most games made anymore are online access dependent even if they aren’t dedicated multiplayer only games. What happens when subscriptions get so low that upkeep is unprofitable? You lose access to a game that you’ve paid a lot of money for, for no good reason as online isn’t necessary but the studios rarely patch it out at game sunset
I agree that ongoing infrastructure costs money, but several years of that should be included in the original estimate and pricing for the sale of the product. Plan for the sale price being cost to make+5 years of estimated maintenance for base product+profit margin. Then extend maintenance with each DLC if any. If no dlc then offer subscription to pay for servers and other infrastructure, if subscriptions fail to cover that then sunset the product but open source the server infrastructure so the community can pay to run it if desired.
Lenny is also just missing the decade of pcmasterrace and other pc hardware sub content. It might get there in time but for now Reddit is still a font of information and advice from knowledgeable people.

Our tax dollars pay for it because a significant portion of the population is dead inside a week if the tap water stops or becomes unsafe. The government takes care of it because the populace can’t be trusted to take care of themselves lol

In their defense, in the modern workforce there is little need for handwriting so there’s little need to teach it. You need to sign your name occasionally but other than that, handwriting is rare due to prevalence of typing.
I was explaining this to someone the other day who thought modern rap was all trash whereas the 90s and 2000s were all gold. I explained there are thousands of moderately successful acts from those decades we’ve just forgotten when remembering the few dozen names we call great.

American workers have a lot of struggle getting walking in as their jobs don’t require hardly any. Walk to car, drive to work to park in garage and walk a few hundred feet to elevator, from elevator a few hundred feet to desk, repeat that trip home, make dinner, go to bed, repeat the next day. It’s even worse for remote workers as they walk from a bed to a desk at most, many remote people I know work from their bed (I could never…)
This new wipe looks great, and arena mode finally coming out is awesome as that’s a lot of fun. Arena alone has me coming back from a 2 year break that I needed from tarkov to get my mental health straight. That game causes major anxiety/anger issues if you take it too seriously
As someone with almost 500 day streak, don’t expect to really learn conversational speaking on there. I’ve reached the point I can mostly read and make out French sentences, even with words I don’t know explicitly, but to have a spoken conversation at this point I believe would be impossible
