Depends on where I am at the time. If I’m in Austin (City) and I ask someone where a really strange item is, I see their eyes glaze over, then they pull out their phone and proceed to check the store’s website.
When I’m in Wyoming and I ask someone where a really strange item is, they ask me what I’m trying to accomplish. Then they proceed to give me a master class in the subject matter as well as a full parts list
Then one day you realize that, they have no idea what they are doing. You think that might be a comforting thought but it ends up keeping you up at night.
This might not be a very pirate thing to do but I cancelled my Kindle Unlimited when I found out I could get all of them, for free, delivered to my Kindle app, from my city’s library via Libby. Books, graphic novels, audiobooks, manga, and more, just there for the taking.
In my sophomore year at college I needed to add a “filler” class to have something to do in campus between my two “real” classes. I chose to take Logic and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Not only was it interesting, it helped me think and analyze arguments. I am pretty sure there are universities that give you free access to the course but it wouldn’t surprise me if you can find logic courses for free on YouTube as well.
