I never liked salt, so I didn’t really miss it. No salt doesn’t mean no seasoning. In fact, I season my food far more now than I did before. Leaning on salt for seasoning leaves a lot of complex flavors out of recipes.
Fat good. Oil bad. Oil is a highly concentrated extract that we aren’t very capable of processing. If I want fat, I’ll eat olives, nuts, avocado, etc. I can stuff myself with food for the same amount of fat and calories as two tablespoons of oil.
This might not be a very pirate thing to do but I cancelled my Kindle Unlimited when I found out I could get all of them, for free, delivered to my Kindle app, from my city’s library via Libby. Books, graphic novels, audiobooks, manga, and more, just there for the taking.
That is a good idea. I am fairly certain I could get funding and/or loaned resource time for English, Spanish, French and German, but crowd funding incentivized localization for other regions is brilliant.
Bitwig was created by some of the people that built Abelton Live. Bitwig is considered by many to be the best of them all and easier to pick up by beginners. I plan to try it on Linux before I decide if I make the jump from Abelton.
I am very pleasantly surprised so far, but that’s because my expectations were so low that I was shocked that ANY plugins even exist. With the way prices are going when it comes to music software, I expect to start seeing rapid progression in the music FOSS space.
I was on old school Focalin, which was a smoother cousin of Ritalin (softer landing). They later released an XR version of Focalin because technically you could grind up the version I was on and abuse it. It was amazing. I was literally a different person. I booked millions of dollars of business on that shit. Unfortunately, it probably also contributed to my now chronic insomnia, hypertension, and other heart related issues. I got for stents installed at 45 even though I’m athletic, always active, and hadn’t had red meat in almost twenty years.
