I spent way too long trying to figure out what country Bananas is. Maybe it’s the capital B, or maybe Bananas just sounds like a nation to me. ¯\(ツ)/¯
My millennial (or maybe gen x) roommate spends a lot of time on tiltok, so she’s always teaching me (a gen z) new ‘gen z’ slang.
It’s fun, but on the other hand she has a pretty skewed perception of young people. She’s always watching engagement-bait content online, and she seems to think most people my age are complete idiots.
I mean don’t get me wrong, we are idiots, but we’re not a different species or anything lol.
My brother and I used Ego for lawn work. I’m not sure if these brands have lawn/garden stuff (I think I remember Ryobi does), but it’s the same concept. I love battery powered tools, but I hate how the brands tie you in.
Reminds me of this video by hbomberguy I watched a couple days ago. It talks about (among other things) how the poor quality of VHS tapes influenced the experience of watching movies, especially the horror genre.
All this to say, it’d be funny if a new type of movie/video emerged that’s great for watching on a tiny smartwatch screen but not so much on anything bigger.
