Khrux,

I’ve always sang the first chorus as get paid and the second chorus as get laid without thinking about it.

Khrux,

They used :-) instead of 😁 is what the actual post shows.

Khrux,

As a counterpoint, combining Cyclops’s power with x-ray vision is a fun power combination, and it’s an interesting take to imagine his power as just cooking everything with radiation.

Khrux,

It’s becoming a lot bigger in the UK and it sucks, it’s just built into receipts everywhere which makes it really awkward to decline. It’s ulalso creeping up from the standard 10%.

Khrux,

I was going to say that. When dealing with weather and cooking, celcius is accurate enough to a degree, and when do anything scientific where I may need 0.1 if a degree, I’d use celcius anyway because it plays better with the rest of science and it’s almost as likely that I’d need to use decimals in Farenheit at that point too.

Khrux,

I’m pro methposting, is that allowed.

Which sequels/prequels/spinoffs made the originals somehow worse?

The Matrix is an often used example, but for me it’s the Alien Prequels - especially Alien: Covenant really makes the Original Alien much worse. When the original was released in 1979 it had the perfect Monster. A dangerous killing machine of unknown origin. The missing background of the alien is a big part of its scary mess....

Khrux,

I’d say that’s different from a bad sequel or prequel. A plot driven TV show is selling a promise that it’s going to tell a compelling story, and when it falls at the end, it’s like a film falling apart in the third act. Still, man didn’t suck.
