Kidplayer_666,

That is why I hope that people start unionising more and start switching jobs more regularly. The increased turnover should mean that companies try to retain employees for the sake of projects not being constantly delayed. I also hope that this also leads to more people starting their own businesses and competing with their former employers both in employing terms (by having better work conditions) and eventually consumer loyalty.

Kidplayer_666,

my point was that by that logic (of why didn’t anyone kill Hitler in the past), the past should be perfect (which it isn’t), implying that the past events are done in such a manner that they create the best possible future outcome

Kidplayer_666,

I mean, giving it very little thought, if Hitler didn’t win, there were good chances that Germany would turn red, and still good chances it would still be aggressive…

Kidplayer_666,

As far as I am concerned, there was one. My grand grandparents either didn’t know how to write or at most had the 4th grade, poor farmers in the middle of nowhere. My grandparents all got high school done and ascended to low middle class. Their kids all got to uni and all got to proper middle to middle high class. Only in my generation does it look like uni and other formal education may not be available for a relevant portion of the population, thanks to the great work of the so called ”Socialist Party” (as socialist as I am a frog)

Kidplayer_666,

Ohhhh, didn’t see the limited ram… maybe something with Xfce is the better option. With some customisation it looks very very good and is very very light

Kidplayer_666,

Hell yeah. I’m not gonna discriminate against them and just let it slide off

Kidplayer_666,

Is anyone here using their hardware TPM chips for credentials?

I’m curious about the possible uses of the hardware Trusted Protection Module for automatic login or transfer encryption. I’m not really looking to solve anything or pry. I’m just curious about the use cases as I’m exploring network attached storage and to a lesser extent self hosting. I see a lot of places where public...

Kidplayer_666,

Hardware accelerated disk encryption if I’m not mistaken

The problem is, as usual, Flying Spaghetti Monster showing that it’s hard to define what is a religion, therefore abuse

Kidplayer_666,
