Hackers shows “real hacking” in the form of social engineering, dumpster diving for passwords, as well as the bit about the pay phones that, once was true if maybe not by the time the movie came out.

I remember doing that 100x salvia shit when I was in my 20’s. It didn’t do a god damn thing. We got the strongest shit and smoked a lot of it and the only person to seemingly have any kind of high was the dude in our group who always tried to get away with shit while drinking by acting a lot more drunk than he really was, so it’s hard to even take that seriously because in all likelihood, he was faking it.
