According to that logic, this cat is standing on the sofa. I have seen my cat laying down with his front paws over the end, straight down, with his back legs folded. He isn’t sitting.
If it was a scam, wouldn’t they ask to give money to them, instead to charities? They give you a few bottles of booze, not the cash, since that’s illegal
If people were only buying manuals, there wouldn’t be a push to put automatics everywhere, especially sports cars. More than 50% of cars in Europe are now automatic. Only 3% of new cars are manual. The old meets the new, and the people chose the new thing. That’s usually what happens. The age of the manual transmission comes to an end.
A day on wikipedia doesn’t get you “installed linux and is actively using it at work” level of knowledge. For cars, the better analogy would be “I can replace the transmission in my car”. Everyone knows how “computers work”. Not a lot of people know how to install a different OS.
Comment only in extraordinary situations, when something you read can confuse someone. And by that I mean the business logic, not that you used a method that’s confusing to people since they only know the basics of the language.
