MajorMajormajormajor,

I was surprised by how good this was. The premise seems very … simple? They did a really good job with it though, very entertaining.

MajorMajormajormajor,

for the longest time the favoured version of it was made of mushrooms.

What in the fuck?

Surely it would work like a car warranty, where a certain level is free and you would have to pay extra for the good stuff. For example, you lose your arm in a work accident, company replaces your lost arm with arm-replacelement-mk1-TM which is equivalent-ish to a regular human arm. However, if you want top of the line arm it will cost extra and company will just pay for surgery and base arm replacement, you must cover the difference. You want anything other than the Honda civic of arms? Gotta pay that premium baby! Otherwise embrace the beige mediocraty life.

Is there a forum for people who are lonely and sad but specifically not incel sickos?

like you know you’re a good person at heart but life circumstances and trauma and bullying and etc prevented you from learning the proper social skills to find companionship. not necessarily a forum to actually find friends (i find going into things with that intention feels fake and weird), but rather a forum to commiserate...

MajorMajormajormajor,

The easiest way to make friends (and this is no easy task if you’re an adult) is to revolve it around hobbies. Find people who share the same interests and conversation is easier if there is something to talk about. This can be online or in person. For example, there are weekly DnD games that happen at local game stores, or book reading clubs, or take a woodworking class at a local college, or find a forum that is all about one niche subject you’re into. If you don’t have hobbies then you have to find something to try, and just try everything you can to see what you are into.

As a once socially inept kid who was bullied mercilessly, social skills are something that takes practice. For me, changing schools, taking up a sport, and getting a job where I had to socialize with people is where I learned to socialize. There were a lot of very awkward conversations, but eventually you figure out what works and what doesn’t.

MajorMajormajormajor,

Lol nope, just tired of seeing the same meme over and over again.

MajorMajormajormajor,

Absolute mad lad.

MajorMajormajormajor,

Sounds like “One Second After” which is about a man and his family trying to survive after nuclear war hits america.

MajorMajormajormajor,

Most of my friends that are in the trades prefer small vans over pickup trucks. They can fit more tools, better organized, and easier to secure. Pickup trucks are very niche vehicles.

MajorMajormajormajor,

Shit, now I just counted the fingers to make sure this wasn’t some sort of inception bamboozling in a bamboozle.
