I am taking both. Thank you. Nobody said that it is exclusive choice.

Wow, just wow. It is OK to disagree, but what’s wrong with you to just start doing personal attacks out of blue? Do you consider yourself a good human being? If yes, look at your post again.

As for the topic of discussion, you have to learn the meaning of the word “trigger”. Also, your analogy does not stand at all, because I was not claiming that corporate greed is good, just that it is not the trigger.

Corporate greed always existed. Thus, it is not the one that triggered inflation.

The tasks are never complete. It is an illusion that you can complete all the tasks, while actually you can’t. That’s what creates the stress. Understanding that it is an illusion can help removing the stress

"Hoarding" or controlling resources will be always meaningful. There is limited amount of accessible matter, and even if all basic needs of every human is satisfied, people have inspirations to do things, including BIG things, and for that they need resources. The only way we might have something like communist society is if AI takes control, and no human is controlling anything of a value. Kind of like a "Culture" series of books by M. Banks. Or if we go completely virtual, but even then, the computation resource is of the value...

I would divide by two (floating point) and check the fractional part.

No, this is about NS. Natural Stupidity.

I choose to interpret it I this way: the person realized that Peterson is so out of it, that proud boys look nearly normal.

Your question has nothing to do with CRT, but with science (I am very critical to CRT if you want to know).

There is a scientific method to classify human beings by genetics. You can group by closeness of genetic code. When you do this you will arrive something similar to ethnicity NOT to race. Race classification is akin classification by eye color, while has some relationship to genetics - it has very little relationship and the genetic code similarities between two of ethnic groups, one has white skin, another have black skin, may be significantly larger than genetics similarity between two groups with black skin. This is why it is unscientific classification.

I said upvoted post on kbin. Not posted on kbin. I might be wrong, but I think I see only kbin upvotes and downvotes. Right now I see 6 upvoted and 1 downvote to the post you have replied. How much do you see?

Well yeah, things improved. I guess the real difference is that the smart phone is actually a mobile general purpose computing device, which, by the way, also makes a call. My reason for buying iPhone 1 was to combine two devices in one - iPod and mobile phone. I did not expect that e-mail, web browsing and camera were so good. But the real game changer was an App Store, which came later.

If you rely on free packages in Python for processing, those are as likely to become obsolete as anything else (if not more likely). I also really dislike the compatibility issues with different versions of different packages, the whole environment aspect. Buying new computer with different version of windows? Who knows what will work there.

In this sense for scientific computation I prefer something like MATLAB. Code written 40 years ago, most likely would still work. New computer? No problem, no configuration, just install Matlab, and it runs! Yes, it costs money, but you get what you paid for. Mathematica is another option, but I mean ugh!

No, you are a software layer, and actually only a small part of it, that runs on hardware of brain. The "you", the consciousness, the ego, is very illusive part of that software. You are not even the one who thinks the thoughts, because the thoughts just appear somewhere mysteriously in conciseness, in "you".

I use both equally well. Since both of them are base 10, no difference whatsoever. You just know the feeling of 70F or 21C.

My brain (and everybody else’s) runs on electrical pulses. So, I die instantly.
