I think because it suggests that there is such thing as Israeli Ethnostate. There is Israel, in which you have about 25% Arab citizens. Far from being ethnostate, the Arab citizens enjoy equal rights and protections from the state.
You could turn invisibility on and off as you like and there would be no time limit. Your clothes would turn invisible too, and you could decide whether the items you are holding would be visible or not....
I rocked a Samsung Alias 2 for 4 years before I got an iPhone 5. The e-ink keyboard was awesome how it changed when you flipped the screen open to portrait or landscape.
Well yeah, things improved. I guess the real difference is that the smart phone is actually a mobile general purpose computing device, which, by the way, also makes a call. But the real game changer was an App Store, which came later.
You ever see a dog that’s got its leash tangled the long way round a table leg, and it just cannot grasp what the problem is or how to fix it? It can see all the components laid out in front of it, but it’s never going to make the connection....
0.999… means the value of the limit of a sequence {0.9, 0.99, 0.999, …} as number of 9s (or length of a sequence) goes to infinity, and the limit is very clearly 1 in my mind.
I said upvoted post on kbin. Not posted on kbin. I might be wrong, but I think I see only kbin upvotes and downvotes. Right now I see 6 upvoted and 1 downvote to the post you have replied. How much do you see?
Once in a while on Reddit one of your most irrelevant comments would receive like 1000 replies, and the other times - nothing. Here it is much more evenly spread. And usually you can go into deep discussion with multiple back and forth.
I remember Reddit was the same when I joined it during Digg exodus.
