Nacktmull,

Maybe don’t jump the hype train every time and instead choose to play proven and established games from developers who are known to deliver quality, which exist in abundance?

Nacktmull,

That is not true, if you don’t stir at all, pasta will stick. To stir just once or twice is sufficient though.

Nacktmull, (edited )

I read that quote regularly. Any clue who it originates from? I think it’s a romantic overstatement and does not hold as a general pasta rule. Salty pasta water is needed when you use a sauce or a pesto that has little salt in it. However, when using a particularly salty sauce or pesto, your end result can easily turn out too salty, if you put too much salt in the pasta water. When I make japanese miso-butter pasta for example, I don’t put any salt in the boiling water, because combined with the miso-butter, that would make the end result way too salty.

Nacktmull,

Did you ever make spaghetti? When you put a bunch of them in the pot, one end of the bunch still sticks out and the bunch just stands there, so no amount of bubbles is going to “knock them around”.

Nacktmull,

Nacktmull,

I am a EU citizen and don´t know about US spaghetti. Probably the FDA approved Teflon coating or something …

Nacktmull,

push the ends that’re stocking out under once it’s soft enough

If you´re using anything than your bare hands for that, I´m pretty sure that counts as a half stir at least! /s

TIL, Americans are so obsessed with race, they even assign certain spices to certain skin tones

Nacktmull,

That is obvious, but thank you

Nacktmull,

Chicken and watermelon anyone? /s

Nacktmull, (edited )

I have had pumpkin soup but apparently the spice doesn’t taste like pumpkin.

Pumpkin Spice is a spice mix (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves) for pumpkin, not a spice made from pumpkin.

Nacktmull,

Freedom good! Borders restrict freedom. Borders bad!

Nacktmull,

Exactly and when they drew the borders of those artificial nations, they had a strange talent for choosing two or more peoples who would otherwise never have formed a nation together voluntarily, so they still don´t get along today and probably never will.

Nacktmull, (edited )

I´ll assume you are just uninformed and not a hypocrite. Refugees get stuck, pushed back and even killed at borders all around the world when trying to choose the country they like the most. Borders bad!

Nacktmull,

Why the “”? Getting cars out of cities to improve quality of life is a major progress.

Nacktmull,

That might take some time, sorry!

Nacktmull,

!hydrohomies

edit: oh wait - it actually exists?!

Nacktmull, (edited )

At least they can´t kill cyclists and pedestrians this way and the emissions get somewhat contained. Of course this is only a compromise but on the way to car free cities it might be a useful intermediate step before we can actually get rid of carbrainitis.

!fuckcars

Nacktmull,

Nacktmull,

I’m sorry for you - you obviously have no clue what real fun is.
