This is the salad recipe. I was out of barley so I used freekeh.
This the chicken recipe. I’ve made the full recipe with the carrots before, but tonight I just wanted a way to cook chicken that would go with that salad.
Edit because my phone thinks freekeh means freezer.
I made a Za’atar, Quinoa, & Turmeric Sourdough, spread some fresh mozzarella on it, covered it with halved grape tomatoes, and popped it under thr broiler. Chef’s kiss.
We create narratives bout everything we experience. If I am upset and getting worked up, why am I telling myself a story that makes me upset? When you realize your feelings are based on the story you’re telling yourself, it’s easier to create a different narrative, or at least separate your feelings from reality.
