What search engine is currently showing the most useful results? What other tricks do we have aside of adding “reddit” or whatever internet community to the results?
You seem to be misunderstanding the point of your doing your search: they got paid for the results that they delivered, and for the ad traffic of you having received it! Don't you see why this is best for them you? /s
They'll vent their frustration at the world bots, who'll take it and engage right back at them, giving them as much attention as they want. Reddit = babysitter service, wha-hoo! :-P
"All" is an awfully large group - perhaps start with "some", e.g. "all in Maine" (and likely some subset of that even, like those who have lived there for 5+ years already, to avoid someone getting cancer first, then suddenly moving to Maine, then once the expensive treatments are over with go back home, etc.), and then if people enjoy seeing it be done well, expand our from there. I dunno... it's a thought, at least.
It seems society always goes down the shitter over and over following the same path. People rise to wealth and power extracted on the repression of the masses, massive disparity, ignorance exemplified, xenophobia and blaming minorities for any possible issue, laws signed with golden pens but becoming more meaningless when...
There is nothing new under the sun...we are the same monkeys that we have always been. Technology / circumstances have changed though, somewhat. Nature + Nurture, with the former unchanged and the latter altered might produce something different? But people thought that the internet would solve all the world's problems, and if you replace "internet" with anything else at all, repeat as nauseum, you get life... so no, it both "changed everything", while also changing nothing.
Strong societies beget weak children, who produce vulnerable societies, which after (as?) they fall apart beget strong children. That is what I see anyway, right or wrong. That is why it is important to ask questions as you are doing. Entropic decay can only be overcome with effort. You can't solve the world's problems, only your own - and those who are willing to listen. As an example, we cannot fix Reddit, only make a new place to be better, but that takes WORK.
I'm also only commenting to suggest people check out Lemmy/Kbin, haha.
And therefore I presume getting down-voted. It's not enough that you are offering a helpful alternative, they want to not only be happy miserable in their chosen place, but for all other places to not be allowed to exist either. :-(
HE will not concede - it's jut not in his nature. There is a remote chance that he could be forcibly evicted by those that he must report to, but it would take a sudden and rather dramatic drop in the quality of content (hahaha I can't even say that with a straight face) amount of money they receive from advertising to make that happen. Thus that is unlikely to happen either.
In any case, does it matter? Now that we've all woken up from the spell - the illusion that things could be both "easy" and free while still being controlled by a for-profit company, just like with wikipedia but without the hassle of it needing donations to continue going forward - why would we ever want to go back, regardless?
Im trying to avoid being a power tripping mod, and I recently got a rude message who had a 1 day ban because he wanted to use the f-slur. Again after being warned....
They are totally fine with fucking, it is strong emotions they are against. Wham bam goodbye is perfectly acceptable, but call me maybe (even just to talk) is strictly forbidden.
It works in the short term, and that is all that matters. He geared up for an IPO, and the calculations end at that point, everything else is someone else's problem.
What is the least SEO-fucked search engine?

Reddit threatens the mods of r/CyberpunkGame (the main subreddit for Cyberpunk 2077). Mods decide to go down in a blaze of glory, whole sub agrees. (old.reddit.com)
Surprising nobody, Reddit Corp threatening a gaming sub of a fanatically anti-corporate video game doesn't go as they'd hoped....

Reddit seems to be scrambling behind the scenes to try and limit the effects of the migration. Damage control: ChatGPT bots are spamming pro-admin, astroturfed comments (i.imgur.com)

I was so hopeful that Reddit might see reason, but at this point, pigboy can take reddit and stuff it up his spez
This is honestly probably for the best. It’s a really bad idea that we’ve let reddit monopolize niche knowledge
