I just wanted to say I appreciate the way you wrote this and didn’t hide the fact it’s taken you a lot of work, and is an ongoing practice. I see these types of things get suggested far too often without that context. “Just meditate” really takes away from how much discipline over years or a lifetime it takes. There’s nothing easy or quick about it, and it takes a lot of courage to keep it up.

I think that’s also in my future, but I liked ccleaner for cleaning up old bits of uninstalled things that didn’t remove themselves cleanly.

In all honesty I do actually wonder about this. Any deaf people out there to weigh in? Does having the captions talk about music improve the experience for you? This is not a loaded question, I’m genuinely curious.

That’s a really interesting take to me because I actually have the opposite reaction. I don’t like the subtitles telling what to think about the tone of the music. I like to experience it raw so to speak.
